Judith joined Young & the
Restless in January 2005 as the mother of Kevin and Michael.
Judith is the daughter of a retired Air
Force General. She was born in Greenville, South Carolina but spent much of
her childhood outside the U.S. She began her career at 14 working in
commercials and "Spaghetti Westerns" while living in Spain. After
graduation from Stephens College with a degree in theatre, Judith moved to New
York and continued acting in commercials and on stage. She joined the
prestigious Actors' Studio and landed the role of Natalie on As the World
Turns.
Falling in love with daytime, she
appeared as Charlotte on Ryan's Hope, Ginny on General Hospital,
Sandra on One Life to Live and Angelica on Days of Our Lives.
Her other TV credits include Murder, She Wrote, The Fall Guy, Magnum
P.I., Silk Stalkings; the telefilms Mortal Fear, Farrel
for the People and Five of Me. She currently hosts the travel show Hello
Paradise.
Judith's feature film roles include 28
Days, The Sweetest Thing, Night of the Running Man and Scorpio
One.
She took a break from acting to teach
several semesters at College of the Desert in Palm Desert, California. She
then returned to acting with an added passion for directing. She mounted the
play The Belle of Amherst, based on the life of Emily Dickinson, which
she successfully toured throughout the U.S. Judith then directed Jekyll and
Hyde: The Musical, Equus and Born Yesterday; performing in Sordid
Lives, Orson's Shadow and Blythe Spirit.
Judith lives in Palm Springs,
California with her partner James who owns St. James Restaurant. She enjoys
teaching yoga and traveling. Her favorite destinations include India,
Thailand, Sri Lanka and Nepal.
