Editor's Note

There's a few twists and turns coming out of the One Life to Live camp. First, as earlier reported, Hunt Block will not be playing Miles. It appears that Hunt didn't want to commit for the four years ABC insisted on. Instead, David Chisum will begin in February. Second, as reported last week, Nathaniel Marston, is not leaving. The recast of Michael is only temporary. The exact reason is still being withheld, and Robert Harte will appear as Michael for a mere two episodes. Robert begins January 10. And finally, remember last year when you were sitting on pins and needles awaiting the fate of Nora and Hillary B. Smith? Thankfully, the show resigned the popular actress but only for one year. Did you buy into the rumors that it was only enough time for her to wrap up her storyline and say goodbye? Well, hold onto your chair because Hillary's fate has finally been decided...the show has offered her a four-year contract! Hillary's reaction, "Are you out of your minds? This doesn't make any sense!" If you can stand it, there's one more piece of good news. With Hillary B. Smith set to grab more screen-time, there's more popular characters who will benefit as well. As well as more Nora, you can expect more Catherine Hickland as Lindsay and Phil Carey as Asa! Merry Christmas, OLTL fans.

Here's your chance to "write" for Days of Our Lives. Through December 31, log on to www.nbc.com and vote for the name of Hope's (Kristian Alfonso) baby. Until December 17, you can vote for any of the five pre-selected names -- Bridget, Ciara, Cassidy, Darcy or Rori. From December 18 to 31, the list will be narrowed down to the top three. The winning name will be revealed in January.

For General Hospital fans, with Ignacio Serricchio's (Diego) recent exit, comes the rumor that Ted King's (Alcazar) days are numbered. (Diego was Alcazar's son.) Stay tuned...

SPOTLIGHT ON...Judi Evans (Bonnie Lockhart, Days of Our Lives)

Daytime Emmy Award winner Judi Evans has rejoined the Days of Our Lives cast as Bonnie, the mother of Mimi. Her last role for the show was Adrienne Johnson, the wife of Justin Kiriakis and sister of Jack Deveraux.

Her Emmy Award-winning role was her daytime debut on Guiding Light as Beth Raines. In 1991, she joined Another World as Paulina Cory.

In 2000, Judi portrayed Patsy Ramsey in the TV movie, Getting Away with Murder: The JonBenet Ramsey Mystery.

Judi was born in Montebello, California and raised in Monterey Park, California. She spent her childhood traveling with the circus as a baby clown -- literally. Her parents were trapeze artists, her three older brothers were jugglers and worked in the circus' prop department. Judi went on to attend Pasadena City College.

Judi and husband Michael, a camera operator at CNBC, reside in Los Angeles with son Austin, who at a year-old appeared on Another World as Paulina's son. Judi's birthday is July 12.
