Born in
Lexington, Kentucky, Farah dreamed of being in show business. She began
modeling at age 5 and traveled to Los Angeles to participate in an
International Model and Talent Convention. Farah competed in several
pageants, in many of which she was a National Speech Winner. In 1995 she
was crowned Miss Kentucky Pre-Teen.
In high
school Farah juggled academics, cheerleading, modeling assignments,
commercials and pageant competitions. She performed in her school's
production of Life with Mother Superior and appeared in numerous
print campaigns for Duncan Hines and in a national commercial for
Pringles® Potato Chips.
In July
1999 Farah's agent told her that she had an audition for Days of Our
Lives. On her first try, she won it. A role that was expected to
last a few weeks has endured seven years.
Farah
currently resides in Los Angeles with her miniature Yorkie, Jack. Her
birthday is May 1.
