James
plays Sam, the former Harmony police chief.
Born in
Lancaster, Ohio, James began modeling at an early age. He was discovered
at an open casting call at NBC for Sunset Beach. He won and was
featured in the show promos. Other daytime credits include Another
World (Neil) and As the World Turns (Liam). Elsewhere, in Sex
in the City, Models & Mortals, Mortal Kombat, Miami
Sands and the mega-hit CSI. In feature films, Let's Talk
About Sex and The Blackout.
James
lives in Los Angeles with his wife, actress Sue-Ling Garcia Hyde and
their son James Moses. He is an avid sportsman playing basketball,
baseball and golf. He enjoys traveling -- to Ohio to visit his family
and Puerto Rico to visit his in-laws. James' birthday is October 9.
