SPOTLIGHT ON...Doug Davidson (Paul

Doug joined Young & the
Restless in May 1978 as P.I. and the son of a police officer, Paul
Williams.
For six years (1998 - 2003), Doug was
the host of the Tournament of Roses Parade. He hosted the nighttime version of
The Price is Right. Doug has co-starred in the mini-series I'll Take
Manhattan and The Initiation of Sarah and was a guest on Diagnosis
Murder. He has also served as the master of ceremonies for the Miss
California Pageant and hosted the Kenny Rogers Cerebral Palsy telethon.
Doug starred with Paul Reiser in the
feature film Mr. Write and had supporting roles in Don't Stop Now and
Fraternity Row.
In addition to traveling, camping and
playing the bagpipes, Doug enjoys contributing his time to charitable
organizations, including the YMCA. He and his wife, actress Cindy Fisher,
serve as National Honorary Chairpersons for WE-TIP (www.wetip.com), a
non-profit anonymous tip line that aids in crime prevention.
Doug and Cindy have two children,
Calyssa and Caden. Doug's birthday is October 24.
