Editor's Note

It's been another interesting week at One Life to Live. A weeks ago it was announced that Phil Carey (Asa) turned down the show's offer to be dropped to recurring. Well, Phil wasn't the only cast member to be up for a new contract. Both Trevor St. John (Todd) and Renee Elise Goldsberry (Evangeline) are  as well. Rumors were running rampant that Trevor St. John would be leaving and that the original Todd (Roger Howarth, now Paul, As the World Turns) would be returning, as his contract is up at ATWT. In a surprise twist though, Trevor and OLTL came to an agreement; but that's not the end of the story. Other sources have leaked that Renee has "asked for the moon" and OLTL is refusing her demands. It now seems as if Trevor has changed his mind because (according to speculation) he is annoyed that the show is refusing to comply with Renee. A spokesperson for Trevor says that it isn't true; Trevor is concerned about his own contract and isn't trying to interfere with Renee's. However, we can expect Evangeline to slip into a coma until her contract issue is resolved. Yes, the writers are scripting her exit, just in case. As for those rumors about Roger returning as Todd, they haven't died yet. Even if Roger doesn't return as Todd, OLTL may have another role in mind for him.

There are stars, however, that have won their contract wars: Joshua Morrow (Nick, Young & the Restless) for five years; Gina Tognoni (Dinah, Guiding Light); Thorston Kaye (Zach, All My Children) and Vincent Irizarry (David, Young & the Restless) is staying for at least another 13 weeks.

In other news, the cast of General Hospital: Night Shift has been announced:

Adrian Alvarado (Cruz Rodriquez)

Bradford Anderson (Damian Spinelli)

Julie Marie Berman (Lulu Spencer)

Wendy Braun (Ms. Sneed)

Steve Burton (Jason Morgan)

Derk Cheetwood (Max Giambetti)

Sonya Eddy (Epiphany Johnson)

Kiko Ellsworth (Stan Johnson)

Richard Gant (Russell Ford)

Jason Gerhardt (Coop Barrett)

Natalia Livingston (Emily Quartermaine)

Kimberly McCullough (Robin Scorpio)

Minae Noji (Kelly Lee)

Jason Thompson (Patrick Drake)
