Editor's Note

The premiere of General Hospital: Night Shift is scheduled for July 12 at 11:00 p.m. EST. But recently, SOAPnet announced that it will first air the show at 5:00 a.m. EST on the same day for all of you who just can't wait. The show will delve deeper into the relationships of the staff and the cases of the patients for 13 weeks.

As the World Turns Legendary singer songwriter Andy Williams cameos July 5, 9 and 10.

Bold & the Beautiful Schae Harrison is back as Darla July 25 and 26. R&B singer Lil Keesha cameos July 30 as an artist for Constantine's record label. She will perform her single, Heaven Knows.

Days of Our Lives Denise Boutte begins her role of Danielle, Jett's fiancee, July 4. Frances Reid (right) resurfaces as Alice July 4.

General Hospital Amanda Baker (Jolene), Nazanin Boniadi (Leyla) and Angel Wainwright (Regina) will appear sporadically as student nurses leading up to the premiere of General Hospital: Night Shift. Wally Kurth reprises his role as Ned for a few episodes starting July 4.

Guiding Light Carey Cromelin appears as Wanda July 5.

 

THIS WEEK

All My Children Greenlee plays on Annie's insecurities. Adam's pride stands in his way. Tad has an interesting proposal for Krystal.

As the World Turns Emily's feelings for Dusty continue to grow. Meg shocks Craig on his doorstep. Katie traps Brad in a lie.

Bold & the Beautiful Ridge's rejection spins Brooke out of control, who finds herself in trouble with the police and social services. A fire puts RJ and Hope in danger.

Days of Our Lives Marlena visits Sami in the safe house. Kayla wants to have another baby. Anna flirts with Tony.

General Hospital Sam faces Sonny and Carly's wrath. Ric warns Sonny that he has evidence to destroy Jason. Sam confronts Jerry.

Guiding Light Dinah's recovery hits a snag. Daisy comes to Rafe's rescue. Alexandra catches Cyrus red-handed.

SPOTLIGHT ON...Bill Hayes (Doug Williams, Days of Our Lives) www.billhayes.net

Bill has been portraying Doug Williams since the 1970s.

Bill's career began on NBC radio as host of NBC-Radio Monitor. He was the national spokesman for Oldsmobile for four years. His first TV appearance was in the series Fire-Ball Run-for-All. He was then asked to be the featured singer on Max Liebman's Your Show of Shows with Sid Caesar and Imogene Coca. More recently, he has appeared on TV in Matlock, Hooperman and Cop Rock. Major film credits include Stop! You're Killing Me, The Cardinal and Wrestling with God.

Bill's Broadway debut was in Rodgers & Hammerstein's Me and Juliet. He followed that with a gold record for The Ballad of Davy Crockett. He was in Bye Bye Birdie on its one-year tour. His total list include 87 musicals, 28 plays, which have been performed in almost every state.

Bill is married to co-star Susan Seaforth-Hayes. They met on the set of Days of Our Lives in the 70s. He has five children from a previous relationship.
