All My Children Bob Hiltermann has been cast as
Annie's father, Walter, beginning August 15. He will help deal with
Spike's hearing problems. Bob is the first hearing impaired actor to appear in
daytime. Billy Miller is scheduled to play a bartender named Wes,
starting August 30. Stacy Haiduk reprises her role of Hannah in
September.
General Hospital Stephen Macht (right) has
landed the recurring role of Trevor, Ric's father. His first airdate is
August 22.

Carlton, Young & the Restless)
Don joined Young & the
Restless in 1984 until 1995 and returned in June 1998.
Don was the first daytime actor to be
chosen as one of People Magazine's 50 Most Beautiful. In the spring of
2000, Don was the recipient of the Australian Inside Soap Magazine Award in
the category of Most Missed Actor in Daytime. On the 2000 CBS Soaps In
Depth Awards, fans voted him the Sexiest Actor.
Born in New York, Don grew up in Los
Angeles as the youngest of four. He excelled academically in high school and
was a star athlete. While in college, he auditioned for the renowned acting
coach, Nina Foch and was accepted into her scene class. Don's training led him
to an agent who landed him to a role on Days of Our Lives. The magazine
Daytime TV voted him Best Newcomer. His Days role ended in 1984;
he then signed with Young & the Restless.
Don's feature film credits include Marco
Polo with Jack Palance, A Low Down Dirty Shame and Anger
Management with Jack Nicholson and Adam Sandler. In tele-films, he
appeared in Country Justice and the Family Channel's Loyal
Opposition with Y&R co-star Corbin Bernsen.
After his niece Alyssa was diagnosed
with Multiple sclerosis, he became actively involved with the National
Multiple Sclerosis Society. In 2001 he was the recipient of the Ambassador of
the Year Award in recognition of his efforts with the Society. Each year, he
hosts The Cure by the Shore charity event to benefit the Society and
The Diamont/Alyssa Mazur Fund for Multiple Sclerosis for the Department of
Neurology at UCLA.
When not working, he enjoys spending
time with his fiance, Cindy Ambuehl, and sons Lauren, Sasha, Alexander, Luca,
Anton and Davis. Don is an avid cyclist and enjoys playing basketball. His
birth date is December 31.
