General Hospital will soon be losing their Amelia -- actress Annie Wersching has landed a role on the primetime series 24. She begins filming this month with the series set to return to Fox this January. There is no official word from the show about what they're planning for Amelia. Along the same line, All My Children will also be losing Alexa Havins who, as anticipated, will be following her husband, Justin Bruening, out to sunny Los Angeles this October. However, the character, who has been in front-burner storylines ever since her debut in October 2003, is not going anywhere. The role will be assumed by daytime newcomer Amanda Baker (right), currently starring as Jolene on General Hospital: Night Shift. In an unusual move, Alexa's last day is October 8; Amanda's first day is October 8. Babe will go into a hug with Krystal played by Alexa and come out of it played by Amanda.

As the World Turns Ryan Serhant, the cbs.com InTurn 2 winner will star as the Evan's biochemist son, Evan IV, November 7. Lacey Kohl and Sarita Covington will guest as Jewel and Krista September 4 and 5. Ron Domingo gives Gwen some news as Dr. Akido September 5. Alex Draper will show an interest in Carly as Ed September 6.

Bold & the Beautiful TJ Hoban appears as the Cafe Russe's bartender Pete September 11.

Guiding Light Donna Mitchell guests as Leona September 5.

Passions Daniel Chalfa will play Luis and Sheridan's son Marty.
