According to Deirdre Hall (Marlena), Drake Hogestyn's rumored return to Days of Our Lives is simply that right now -- a rumor. She insists she knows nothing and hasn't seen him stalking the halls of the studio. Hmm....

In other Days news, proving he's more than a pretty face, James Scott (EJ) has taped a public service announcement advising American kids on how they can help African kids dying of malaria, via the organization Kids Saving Kids. (Malaria is the leading cause of death for children under 5 in Sub-Saharan Africa.) Look for the ad on NBC or visit www.iWillafrica.org.

All My Children While Charles Parnell (Derek) is off starring in the off-Broadway production of The Overwhelming, Jerome Preston will assume the role until December 23.

As the World Turns Sara Chase appears as Judy December 6.

Bold & the Beautiful Betty White (right) reprises her role as Ann December 10.

Days of Our Lives The Salem High School gang: Alison McMillan (Penny), Jennifer Gee (Susan), Robert Benvenisti (Kevin), Veronica Lauren (Cynthia), Aaron Van Wagner (Jason) and David Askew (Mr. Woods) reappear December 11.

Guiding Light Bill shares a romp with Dylis Croman (Andrea) December 6. Meredith Patterson appeared as Gus and Natalia's wedding planner December 7.

Passions John Reilly resurfaces as Alistair December 10. Christopher Maleki resurfaces as Spike December 11.

Young & the Restless Jerry Douglas is back again as John December 10. David Starzyk and Clyde Kusatsu return as Dr. Webb and Dr. Okamura December 4. Pat Skipper guests as the Senate Chairman beginning December 3. Todd Waring guests as Todd December 5.

 

OUTS

As the World Turns Chris Heuisler as Cole exits December 4.

Days of Our Lives Matthew Florida "exits" as Ford beginning December 5. It won't be permanent, he'll return for a few ghostly appearances.

General Hospital As expected, the next victim of the killer is scheduled to be Lindze Letherman (Georgie).

 

THIS WEEK

All My Children Kendall struggles to stay strong. Tad takes drastic action. Things get worse for Zach and Greenlee.

SPOTLIGHT ON...Erin Cardillo (Esme Vanderheusen, Passions) www.erincardillo.com

Erin was born in White Plains, New York but considers Greenwich, Connecticut, where she lived from age 10 through high school, her home town.

Though Erin has always wanted to be an actress, her parents thought it was important she have a normal childhood, and encouraged her to finish college before taking on acting professionally. Erin attended Northwestern University and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Performance Studies. It was there that she began to explore writing and adaptation, as well as acting. She graduated Magna Cum Laude. Erin spent her junior year abroad in London, through Marymount College, where she cultivated her great love of Shakespeare.

After college Erin moved to New York where she jumped into the theater. After booking two television jobs, on the short-lived sitcom Madigan Men, with Gabriel Byrne, and long-standing Law & Order, Erin was hooked and knew that a move to Los Angeles would be inevitable.

In the past few years in L.A. Erin has written and produced a short film (The Murder of Donovan Slain), and acted in over 10 films. She has appeared in guest-starring and recurring roles on ABC, NBC, CBS, NIK, FOX and Lifetime series.
