One of daytime's most beloved
actresses and a successful author, Alison is currently tackling the role of
producer.
Alison joined Days of Our Lives on
January 6, 1993 at the age of 16; Alison has taken Sami from rebellious
teenager to a devoted single mother. Along the way, Sami and Alison have
tackled various controversial storylines including bulimia, date rape, teen
pregnancy and capital punishment.
In her 14-year career at Days,
she has won several awards. Four Soap Opera Digest Awards (1986, 1998, 1999
and 2001), and also an award for America's Favorite Villain from the
29th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards.
Alison is an accomplished author. Her
book, All the Days of My Life (So Far) was published in 2004 to
critical acclaim. The book gave audiences a glimpse into Alison's personal
life by describing her experiences as a child actor, life on the set of Days,
painful high school memories and her struggles to lose weight and keep it
off.
Alison is currently taking on a new
role, Producer, for several projects, one of which is an Internet-based
episodic program. She is currently in talks for the show to be broadcast on
the Internet and on a major network's website.

the current host of The Biggest Loser.
She lives in Los Angeles with her
husband, an L.A. Highway Patrol Officer and their son.
