8. Ivar Brogger returns as Dr. Patrick October 1. Jacqueline Hahn will resume
her role of Dr. Caspary October 3.
Days of Our Lives A mini Passions reunion! Both Galen Gering
(Luis, Passions) and Eric Martsolf (Ethan, Passions) are on their way. Galen
will play an FBI agent coming at the end of October. Eric will assume the role
of Brady Black in mid November.
Guiding Light Jeff Branson (Jonathan, All My
Children) will
assume the role of Shayne Lewis December 1.

SPOTLIGHT ON...Nazanin Boniadi (Leyla
Mir, General Hospital)
Nazanin Boniadi portrays Leyla Mir, a stunning student
nurse that makes everyone's head turn. She made her debut as the character
on SOAPnet's highly successful, General Hospital spin-off General
Hospital: Night Shift. She officially joined the cast of General
Hospital in August 2007.
Born in Tehran, Iran, and raised in London, England, Nazanin was handpicked
by Oscar® Award-winning director Mike Nichols for a part in Charlie
Wilson's War, starring Tom Hanks, Julia Roberts and Philip Seymour
Hoffman. She followed that up by landing a part in Marvel Comics' upcoming
film Iron Man, directed by Jon Favreau and starring Robert Downey Jr.
She has guest starred on the CW television series The Game, a
spin-off of Girlfriends. She also appears in the films Gameface
and Shades of Ray.
Nazanin is the great-great-granddaughter of famed 19th Century Persian
philosopher and poet, Safi Ali Shah. She graduated with Honors from the
University of California Irvine, where she received a Bachelor's Degree in
Biological Sciences. She is also fluent in both English and Farsi.
