Editor's Note

I'm starting a new feature this week that I hope you guys will love. I want to know what you love and/or hate about your favorite soap. We may not be able to change the show, but at least we can celebrate and/or commiserate with each other.

The biggest news this week is Passions. A fabulous "new" character, an exiting favorite and some fan feedback. The show has it all this week! As well check out the "News & Rumors" section to see how you can own a real piece of your favorite soap!

Enjoy! Karen

NEWS & RUMORS

Will Bridget be leaving Bold & the Beautiful for good? The character (played by Emily Harrison) gets an opportunity to leave town this week. The show's executives insist the character will remain but other sources are speculating the role may expire permanently.

Enchantment, Erica (now Greenlee and Kendall's) cosmetic company, will be releasing a real fragrance this fall. It's described as an amber Oriental scent to be sold in Wal-Mart stores. For more information, tune in to All My Children as the Fusion players will begin preparations for the fragrance's launch.

One Life to Live will add its first gay character since 1992. A male member of the Love Crew will make the big reveal to Marcie in the upcoming week.

YOU'RE NOT ALONE

Tell me what's going on your favorite soap that's got you talking (karensnews2004@yahoo.ca)

A former devoted ABC soap fan has been lured away to another network because the kids seem to have taken over the ABC shows. I can definitely vouch for this as my mother used to watch All My Children but stopped watching for a while for exactly the same reason.

If you're disappointed about how little Reva (Kim Zimmer) appears on Guiding Light, you're not alone. Kim Zimmer has noticed too (of course). It's been said she has a six month option in her contract to decide if she wants to stay for three years. But the actress has been promised that there are story lines coming up, though she doesn't know what they are.

Passions fans are not happy to hear that Theresa and Fox will be recast temporarily. They're even going to go so far as to boycott the show! While others are upset over the actors the show has hired to be the replacements -- Priscilla Garita and Nick Stabile. I promise you, though, Lindsay and Justin Hartley will return to the show after their maternity/paternity leave.
