YOU'RE NOT ALONE
(Tell me what's going on on
your favorite soap: karensnews2004@yahoo.ca)
Ridge, Ridge, Ridge. What has happened to
you? Some fans would like to give him a makeover. Barb put it
best, "He's been turned from a character I wanted to cheer for
to a character I wish somebody would pipe bomb. He is so
arrogant lately, I just fast forward through his scenes. I
can't wait to see him get his, and I hope Darla is the one to
do it!" Hear, hear! As well, recently he and Brooke got
married on The Bold & the Beautiful -- for the
fourth time. Are they that star-crossed or do they need
new love interests?
I just heard this and am in shock! Eva La Rue
and John Callahan (Maria and Edmund on All My Children)
are getting divorced. I hope this doesn't affect their
on-screen characters. We just got Maria back last year; I
don't want to see her leave again. Thankfully, their split
does seem to be amicable. The show has released a statement
saying, "...they still look forward to [a] future storyline
with Edmund and Maria." Here's hoping...
The drama from the Russell family on
Passions is hot! It's best put from Rodney Van Johnson
(TC from the show), "It is so great to see strong
African-American actors deliver like you wouldn't believe. The
moments with the core Russell family are amazing. It's been a
full-on African-American cast dealing with this issue. It's
been a blessing and an honor to be in Marla Gibbs' (Aunt Irma)
presence. This is front-burner stuff. It's not filler. They're
challenging me as an actor, and I think it's time." All of
these points are true, but simply put, it's just great drama!
