Here it is October already. This year is just flying by
isn't it? This week's news is pretty even with double news stories from Days
of Our Lives and the Young & the Restless. Let's just dig in!

As the World Turns The wily Dr. Decker (John James)
comes back September 29. Bud (Vasill Bogazianos) is a gym manager appearing
October 1.
Days of Our Lives Bart (Steve Blackwood) is back for
a few episodes as the DiMena henchman.
Guiding Light JB's friends Rocko and Jake (Charlie
Brumbly and Dan Reno) appear September 30.
One Life to Live The crossover continues for Babe
and Jamie (Alexa Havins and Justin Bruening) in mid-October. Eleanor Vaughn
(Jennifer Rae Beck) is a federal agent and Sonia's superior.
Young & the Restless Judith (Judith Blowe)
appears October 12. Blowe is involved in Dr. Phil's Ultimate Weight Loss
Challenge.
NEWS & RUMORS
Days news...Internet rumors
are saying that both Lucas (Bryan R. Dattilo) and Tony (Thaao Penghlis) are
being written out of the show. The show isn't commenting on these particular
characters but some Captive Island residents may not return home to
Salem. As well, Marlena (Deidre Hall) will disappear for the next four weeks
thanks to a "plot focus in other directions." She returns October 25
and she and John will continue their reunion.
Y&R Victoria
news...Victoria Rowell (Drucilla) is very happy to hear Shemar Moore (Malcolm)
is headed back. The actress insists she's been telling everyone that he'd
return since she came back to the show. She's hoping that the show will
explore the paternity of her daughter Lily, but the show is hinting that they
have something even better in mind for him. And, the role of Victoria Newman
is being recast.
Marj Dusay (Alex on Guiding Light)
made an appearance at New York's Fashion Week in a foot cast. She has a stress
fracture that will be written into the show.
Linda Dano has lost of her husband of
22 years, Frank Attardi. Attardi, 70, succumbed to lung cancer on September
15. Contributions in his memory can be made to Memorial Sloan-Kettering

That Lesli Kay (Lois from General Hospital) is one
sexy actress. While watching a recent love scene between herself and Ted King
(Alcazar) she realized that some scenes had been cut. She explains, "I
guess it's against Standards and Practices to be 'between legs'. When you're
jumping up on someone and straddling them and they put you down, obviously
they are between your legs. I had jeans on, but it was illegal. I've been told
that ever since the Janet Jackson wardrobe malfunction B.S. they are way
tougher on love scenes, which is a shame because it was good." In 2002,
while playing Molly on As the World Turns, she had scenes cut with Mark
Collier (Mark). At the time, she explained, "They'd written for me to
have an orgasm. I didn't do it vocally, but maybe it was apparent facially. It
was just too good, I guess." She must be doing something right ;-)

Guiding Light Michelle's memories of her mother poses problems for her

One Life to Live Jen catches Paul as he's about to kiss Lindsay.
Antonio disrupts Jessica's wedding. Natalie attacks Paul.
Passions Paloma advises Chad on revenge against Julian and Fox. Whitney
