Editor's Note

CBS soaps are dominating the news this week, including a huge shocker of an exit after a 35-year career.

Enjoy!

Bold & the Beautiful Johnny (Jim Davidson) is supposed to be a love interest for Bridget beginning in January. If his character is well received, he could stick around longer than the few days that's scheduled. On December 9, a taxi driver (Joey Naber) and an orderly (Ben O'Rourke) appear.

Guiding Light A nanny (Toni Senecal, Entertainment Correspondent for WPIX/Ch.11) helps Olivia leave town December 6. Marco (Nelson Vasquez) meets Michelle in the jungle December 8. OUT

One Life to Live Shannon's (Danneel Harris) last airdate was December 2.

NEWS & RUMORS

After 35 years with As the World Turns, Larry Bryggman (John) has been let go. This is strictly conjecture, but apparently, due to a contract dispute -- his salary. He was rumored to be very upset when he was dropped to recurring status. His last airdate is scheduled to be December 14.

While General Hospital's Tyler Christopher (Nikolas) is heavily involved in the filming of Steven Spielberg's Into the West next month, fans shouldn't even notice that he's gone. As well, Wally Kurth (Ned) and wife, Debra, welcomed baby number three, Brogan George Kurth, into the family on November 14.
