The biggest news comes out of As the World Turns this week. Beyond that, it's actually quiet again around Soap Land.

All My Children Amanda Dillon, (Chrishell Stause) Trevor and Janet's daughter, will be involved with JR, Babe and Jamie, beginning May 4.

General Hospital A priest (soap vet Kale Browne) will be involved with Alexis and Durant this May. Luke (Anthony Geary) returns April 27.

Guiding Light A.C. Mallet (newcomer Robert Bogue) begins April 15.

One Life to Live Dr. Phil Jameson (Michael Duvert) begins as Jessica's therapist April 11.

OUTS

As the World Turns Aaron (Agim Kaba) leaves town April 13.

Guiding Light Michelle (Nancy St. Alban) will go under the radar later this month, as the actress if off on maternity leave.

NEWS & RUMORS

At All My Children, May will bring Jack and Erica's wedding, meaning Eden Riegel (Bianca) should return (it's not official yet) and Phoebe's funeral, meaning we should see some old faces (no one has been confirmed yet). Even though Jeff Branson's character (Jonathan) just died, execs at the soap were pleased with him, not to mention the fact he nabbed an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor. He just might show up somewhere else.

At As the World Turns, head writer Hogan Sheffer's sabbatical will be a permanent one. During his four-year stint, he won three Daytime Emmys and is up for another this May. Jean Passanante will remain the new head writer with Trent Jones and Leah Laiman remaining the associate head writers.

And at General Hospital, Lesli Kay (Lois) has officially been dropped to recurring, despite her huge stories last year.

All My Children Maria admits her true feelings for Zach. Kendall turns her back on Ethan. David puts his plot against Tad in action.

As the World Turns Celia and Casey learn the consequences of having sex. Alison's departure causes problems for Will. Lily and Keith share a passionate kiss.

Days of Our Lives Mimi makes a full confession to Tek. Roman and Jack escape and reunite with Cassie and Marlena. Sami/Stan gets a mysterious new assignment.

SPOTLIGHT ON...Lauralee Bell (Christine Blair Williams, Young & the Restless)

Lauralee is the daughter of Young & the Restless creators William J. Bell and Lee Phillip Bell. She began her career on the show in 1977 at age 9 as an extra and reappeared continually over the next 5 years. At age 13, she had a brief speaking part that slowly evolved into a recurring role. When the family finally moved from Chicago to Los Angeles, Lauralee became a full-time cast member during her senior year of high school in 1986.

She has also worked as a model, appearing in numerous national publications. Lauralee owns a clothing boutique, On Sunset, located on Sunset Plaza in West Hollywood, California. Lauralee is married to photographer Scott Martin. They have two children, Christian and Samantha. Her birthday is December 22.
