Editor's Note

In the news this week, some good news and bad news from Guiding Light and as some stars return to One Life to Live, there's a few rumors circulating about a couple more stars returning. Good news, though, Melissa Archer (Natalie) is staying. She and ABC were able to reach an agreement after all.

? ? ? ?  INS

General Hospital Dr. Thomas (Larry Poindexter) is a psychologist beginning June 3. A younger Carly (Shayne Dahl Lamas, daughter of Bold & the Beautiful's Hector, Lorenzo Lamas) is also scheduled to appear.

Guiding Light A reporter (Katie McGee, real-life entertainment reporter for WCBS-TV in New York) covers a lockdown at the prison May 23 and 27. George (Joe Duer) takes care of Dinah May 26. Buzz identifies "Harley" at the morgue to an attendant (Jason Pugatch) May 27. A cop (Joseph Barbara) will appear in early June with Harley and Gus.

One Life to Live Reminders: Asa (Phil Carey) is back May 20. Carlo Hesser (Thom Christopher) comes home June 8.

Young & the Restless Reverend Palmer (Brad Maule) is back for Cassie's memorial service. Noah is now being played by Chase Ellison.

OUTS

All My Children Greenlee (Rebecca Budig) will reportedly exit sometime this summer.

As the World Turns Craig (Hunt Block) is out as well. (For a possible reason, see "News & Rumors" below.)

Guiding Light Lena's (Linda Dano) story came to an end May 25.

NEWS & RUMORS

Has anyone noticed in One Life to Live's opening that Cristian is still there three months after leaving? If, like me, you're wondering why, this might explain it. There's chatter that David Fumero may come back. In other rumors, Tom Wopat may end up as the new Clint.

Exciting news from Guiding Light. First, the good news...The show (and As the World Turns) have been picked up through the 2006-2007 season. The bad news...Both the cast and crew are taking pay cuts. Contracts are being re-negotiated to reflect the cuts. (Perhaps, this is the reason why Hunt Block, see "Outs" above, is leaving.) As well, the show is moving to a new studio, ATWT's former studio (which tapes in Another World's former studio).

And finally, Nancy St. Alban (Michelle, GL) and husband Chris Puleo, have a second daughter, Luciana "Lucie" Madeline Puleo, born May 8.
