Editor's Note

There's a lot to cover so let's get right to it.

? ? ? ?  INS

All My Children Josh Madden (Scott Kinsworthy) is Dr. Madden's teen son beginning June 17.

As the World Turns Hal (Benjamin Hendrickson) returns June 21.

Bold & the Beautiful Priscilla (Linda Gray) is Sam's mom who will aid Sam (Sydney Penny) in leaving town.

General Hospital Reese as a teen (Meghan Lynch) will be seen June 9. That same day, Evan (Kevin McClatchy) is also from Reese's past.

One Life to Live Nash (Forbes March) is Tess' love interest, starting July 7.

Young & the Restless Cassie (Camryn Grimes) is back -- in flashback form. The pop-opera quartet Il Divo perform on the soap in July.

OUTS

As the World Turns Curtis (Ernest Waddell) will leave as Waddell will star in The Bedford Diaries, a midseason WB replacement. Rosanna (Cady McClain) is officially leaving as well. No official word yet on whether McClain is returning to All My Children.

Bold & the Beautiful Amber (Adrienne Frantz) will be off the canvas for a couple of months to work on her album.

One Life to Live Daniel (Mark Dobies) is off to jail June 15.

Young & the Restless Gitta's (Gabriella Bern) "visa" will expire next month.

NEWS & RUMORS

Tis the season that daytime stars head to primetime. Nadia Bjorlin (Chloe, Days of Our Lives) will star in UPN's Sex, Lies & Secrets. Daniel Cosgrove (Bill, Guiding Light) stars in ABC's Blind Justice. Shemar Moore (Malcolm, Young & the Restless) is slated to star in CBS's Criminal Minds. No last airdates have been announced for the trio.

Kim Zimmer (Reva, Guiding Light) is not at all happy with the recent announcement by the soap's head honchos that all stars will have to take a pay cut and re-negotiate their contracts. The actress is in the middle of her current contract, which will keep her on the soap until June 2006. She's not at all interested in re-negotiating her contract until after that time. Zimmer is planning on staying until June 2006, and that the only way she won't is if they fire her. Stay tuned...

If you were surprised by Cassie's death on Young & the Restless, you're not alone -- so was Camryn Grimes (Cassie). She had no idea they were going to kill her off. She believed, like the fans, that she would get better. Grimes says she was going to leave in March 2006 when her contract expired anyway. Grimes was, of course, shocked at first but has come to terms with it. Cassie is scheduled to be on the canvas for a few episodes in flashback form but states she doesn't want to come back permanently.

Lorenzo Lamas (Hector, Bold & the Beautiful) is set to wed fiancee Barbara Moore July 16 in Beverly Hills.
