SPOTLIGHT ON...Justin Bruening (Jamie
Martin, All My Children)
Justin was born and raised in
Nebraska by his maternal grandmother. Though he studied biochemistry in
college, upon graduation, he moved to California to live with an aunt and
uncle. While working at McDonald's, he was discovered as a model. Through that
career detour, he ended up in a Britney Spears music video. In 2003, with a
casting call out for JR Chandler at All My Children, Justin moved to
New York and scored the job. Just before he began taping scenes as JR, the
show decided he was a better fit as Jamie Martin. Apparently, the fans agreed;
Justin has been with the show since 2003. In September 2004, he and co-star
Alexa Havins (Babe Carey) went public with their relationship. In February
2005, they got engaged. On June 5, 2005, the couple wed. Justin's birthdate is
September 24.
