Editor's Note

Wow, stunning news this week, three characters are on the way out with one actor shocked that his character is being killed off. For the General Hospital fans of Jennifer Bransford's Carly, a petition has been started at www.petitiononline.com to bring her back.

      INS

Bold & the Beautiful Jonathan (Joseph Campanella), the Forrester attorney is back on October 17.

General Hospital Leslie (Denise Alexander) returns for Liz and Lucky's wedding October 28.

Guiding Light Kandi (alisha Davis, the MTV webcast anchor) is Jeffrey's assistant again on October 17. Alan-Michael (now played by Michael Dempsey) "debuts" November 4. NASCAR drivers Carl Edwards and Mark Martin cameo October 21.

Passions Edna Wallace (Kathleen Noone) is back November 23.

OUTS

Bold & the Beautiful Gaby (Shanelle Workman) gets an abrupt end on October 27. Caitlin (Kayla Ewell) is also out. The soap opted not to renew Ewell's contract.

Guiding Light Bill (Daniel Cosgrove) leaves Springfield October 18.

Passions Fox (Justin Hartley) will air through to next February and then will be recast. Hartley made the announcement during the Passions' annual fan club weekend and said, "All I want to do is thank you for your support...The producers have been great. I love the cast...I'm going to miss you guys, but I'll be around. I'd like to encourage continued support of the show."

Young & the Restless Bobby (John Enos) died this week. But the real news here -- because we knew he was leaving -- was Enos didn't know that Bobby was being killed off. "They didn't tell me anything about that. I guess I can stop waiting for [the show] to call me. I would have thought they would have let me in on it, but I haven't been told anything. I don't see any opening for me to come back," Enos explains.

RUMOR

Rumors are circulating that One Life to Live's Nora (Hillary B. Smith) may not awake from her coma. Smith's contract is up in December and sources are saying it's premature to speculate right now. Don't panic; there's still plenty of time.
