Kim debuted on Guiding Light in
April 2002.
Elsewhere in TV Land, Kim appeared on
Law & Order, The West Wing and Third Watch. In other
daytime roles, you may have seen her on All My Children as Lila
Rousseau. In 2004, she became quite familiar to PBS audiences, starring as
Zora in the docudrama. (Zora is a novelist that Kim played before in Zora
Neale Hurston at the American Place Theatre.)
A native of Baltimore, she had
successful stints on the stages of the American Place Theater, Kennedy Center
and the AFI Theaters, starring in productions including From the
Mississippi Delta, Thunder Knocking on the Door, The American
Play and In Walks Ed. On New York stages, Kim has starred in Holiday
Heart, In White America and Coming Apart Together. On the
big screen, catch her in Love Songs and Dirty Laundry.
Kim, born February 14, now lives in New York City.
She enjoys yoga, karate and cooking.
