Darin joined the show as Frankie's
younger brother, an up and coming stock car driver.
Darin was born and raised in
Honolulu, where his parents, older brother and pet dachshund still live.
After appearing as Rapunzel's Prince
in Into the Woods during high school, Darin caught the acting bug. He
studied acting at the Carter/Thor Studios in Los Angeles with Ivana Chubbuck.
Two years ago, a casting director, Kathy Henderson, referred him to an agent
who urged him to move to Los Angeles. With only a monologue on tape, Darin had
a general meeting with Days' casting director Fran Bascom and landed
the role of Max Brady. His only other professional credit is his role in Toby
Wilkins' short movie, Staring at the Sun, currently making the rounds
on the festival circuit.
In his off-time, Darin still enjoys
surfing, though he much prefers his home waters of Hawaii. He also loves
skateboarding, baseball, soccer and football. Musically-inclined, Darin plays
the guitar, bass and drums. Darin's birthday is May 27.
