Editor's Note

I have good news for General Hospital fans. Tristan Rogers is already set to return for at least another four weeks, probably in late April. Bad news for Guiding Light fans. The show asked Grant Aleksander to return to the role of Phillip but Grant flat out refused; eventually the show will have to recast.

Plus, (psst!) for Young & the Restless fans...Shemar Moore has been spotted at the soap's studio. For the All My Children fans pleased with Janet's latest revenge plot, Kate Collins will continue airing through the spring.

SPOTLIGHT ON...Tracey Bregman, left  (Lauren Fenmore, Young & the Restless) www.traceybregman.net

Tracey has gotten to know Young & the Restless' Lauren very well over the years. She's played the character from 1983-1995 and returned in 2001. The department store heiress also crossed over to the Bold & the Beautiful in 1995 to 1998 and again in 2004. Tracey was the first recipient of the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Younger Leading Actress in 1985.

Tracey was born in Munich, Germany; raised in London, England until age 10 and then moved to Southern California. She studied acting with Francis Lederer at  the American National Academy of Theater Arts. She now studies with Gene Bua and John Homma at the Lee Strasberg Institute.

Tracey began her acting career on Days of Our Lives as Donna Temple Craig. Elsewhere on TV, she appeared in the after-school special, The Girl with ESP, the telefilms Three on a Date and Sex and Mrs. X. She was a series regular on Second Family Tree and guest-starred on The Fall Guy, Gavilan, Fame, The Love Boat and the Canadian series The Littlest Hobo. Recently, Tracey shot the pilot for Tales from the Soulful Earth, a spiritual reality show.

See if you can spot her in the films Happy Birthday to Me, The Funny Farm and Blue Devil. Tracey and husband Ronald Recht live in Los Angeles with their two sons Austin and Landon.
