Who`s afraid of Finkelstein?
Haaretz Editorial - The right of Israeli citizens to hear unusual views is one that should be fought for. It is not for the government to decide which views should be heard here and which ones should not. The decision to ban Finkelstein hurts us more than it hurts him. The decision is all the more surprising when one recalls the ease with which right-wing activists from the Meir Kahane camp - the kind whose activities pose a security threat that no longer requires further proof - are able to enter the country.

Already for seven years, he does not succeed in getting an Isrtaeli permit to leave the Gaza Strip.

Amos Gvirtz - Don`t say we did not know - A doctor who manages a medical organisation, was summoned to appear last Thursday, came for his appointment at the time which had been set, waited in line all day until 3 p.m., when he was told to return again on Sunday. Today he has been waiting since the morning and understands that again today he will not be received.
