Slow Cooker Picante Lentils
Serve this condiment with eggs or over burritos,
pasta or rice.
28 oz. canned crushed tomatoes
1/4 cup lentils; rinsed
1 cup chopped onion
5 cloves minced garlic
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. toasted cumin seed
1 green chile pepper; minced
1/2 cup hot picante sauce
Combine tomatoes, lentils, onions, garlic, sugar, cumin,
chili, and sauce in slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 6-8
hours until lentils are tender.
Serves 4.
