Best Haircuts for Long Faces
If you have a long
face and are looking for a new haircut, don’t go ahead till you have
read this article. After reading this article, you will be well
equipped with information on what suits you best and what an
absolute no-no for your face shape is.
Here we list some tips and haircut suggestions you should carefully
go through and follow before having your hair cut:
1. Keep in mind that you need to create width on the sides of your
face to minimize the oblong look that you currently have. You need
to choose hair cuts which add volume to the sides and stay away from
those that create volume over the head making your face seem longer
than it already is.
2. Bangs are the easiest way to achieve a balanced look for a long
face. Long, side swept bangs will quickly and easily make your face
look much less longer and add instant style quotient.
3. Get your hair cut to chin-length. This creates an illusion of
width on your face. Chin-length bobs look smart and stylish and are
a good option if you are not averse to having a short haircut.
4. Medium or long hair can be treated with curls or waves to add
volume. Avoid curls in short layered hair as it will create volume
on the top of your head instead of the on the sides and will not
give you the desired look.
5. Layered hairstyles are a must if you intend to keep your hair in
medium or long lengths. Straight long hair will make your face seem
more oblong.
6. ‘U’ or ‘V’ shaped haircuts will help in giving width at the sides
and hiding away all the length of the hair at the back.
7. In general, try to stay away from very short or very long hair
and stay with medium and long-medium hair length.

HOME DECOR
Create Beautiful Outdoor Living Spaces
Outdoor living spaces are becoming
quite popular, and why shouldn’t they? What better way is
there to expand your square footage without building an
addition? Making your yard, garden, or patio feel like an
extension of your home is one of the best ways to create more
useable space.Continue the Same Scheme
Start by continuing your indoor
color scheme out to the patio or the garden. This is
especially important if an interior space opens directly onto
the outdoor living space. Throw those French doors or sliding
glass doors open and instantly increase the amount of square
footage.
Co-Ordinate Outdoors with
Indoors
Choose patio furniture and
outdoor accessories that coordinate with your interior
furnishings. You don’t want to go from modern inside to French
Country outside if the spaces are tied together, unless of
course you plan to create some type of eclectic mix in both
spaces.
Beautify
Beautify your outdoor spaces
with some quick tips. For closed spaces like patios, add a
pretty picture on the wall. Wreaths made of seasonal flowers
and foliage look great on walls and garden fences. Tabletop
fountains and other similar water features have a soothing
effect on your nerves and make your outdoor living space more
welcoming. During spring and summer, a few hand-picked flowers
from your own garden will brighten up your outdoor space and
make it more inviting.
Outdoor Furniture
You can find beautiful outdoor
furniture that looks good enough to use indoors and is
comfortable enough for daily living as well as for
entertaining. Take special pains in caring for your outdoor
furniture so it continues looking great. With a little bit of
additional color and a few well-chosen accessories, you can
instantly create more livable space for your family.

The trend of edible wedding favors is constantly
growing and chocolates, cookies and even preserves make the most
stylish of favor ideas these days. And it is not just the bride and
the groom, but also the guests who love to take home these favors.
Here are some beautiful ideas for edible wedding favors that you
will want to consider for your wedding:
1. Boxes or pouches filled with personalized chocolates are a huge
hit. Get creative with the shapes and match them to your theme. If
you have a motif for your theme, get the motif engraved on the
chocolates. Or you could order or make chocolates in different
shapes such as coins for a Las Vegas wedding, flowers for a Garden
wedding, shells and starfish for a beach wedding etc.
2. Clear glass bottles or wine and cocktail glasses can also be
filled with a variety of sweets like chocolates, candies, mints,
sugar almonds or even nuts. Wrap in clear cellophane and tie at the
top with ribbons.
3. Cookies make for lovely favors. Customize your wedding favors by
getting your names or initials or wedding motif engraved on the
cookies. You can also get the cookies made in different shapes like
doves, butterflies, flowers etc. to match your theme or get them
decorated in different color combinations to match your color
scheme.
4. Little bottles and mini jars of preserves are making an
appearance at many weddings today. Choose preserves that come out in
a color that matches your wedding colors or decorate the jar lids
with fabric in your wedding colors.
5. Mini-cakes are a great way to save money on your wedding cake as
well as thank guests for attending your wedding. Get mini-cakes made
just like your wedding cake but in just 2 tiers. They look
delightful and will also help you save money since you can get a
simpler and smaller wedding cake made for cutting.
