Filing Systems
Box Files These are large boxes that will take a piece of standard paper without having to fold it. They can be separately labeled and you can keep one filing category in each box. Easily stored on a shelf. If your shelf is big enough.
Variations on box files are cut away half boxes and of course the old shoe box.
Concertina files These are indexed files and are good for holding receipts and paid invoices, bills. You can get large ones that would hold all the categories of your home office.
Folders These are cardboard folders, or transparent plastic ones. I always use these for papers that I need to carry around anywhere, as they are light and easy to handle.
Filing Cabinets By far the best storage device for documentation. They were made for the job. Nowadays they come in all sorts of fancy colors so they blend into your decoration. A two drawer version is just enough. If you have two together they make a wonderful base for a desk with a piece of worktop across the top of them.
Card index files These are useful for addresses or indexed information.
CRAFTS
Potpourri Hangers
Mother's Day is approaching fast
and a handmade, lacy hanger is a lovely way to make her feel
special.
Supplies - Plastic Hangers ???Lace
fabric ???Lace trim ???Ribbon ???Potpourri ???Hot glue
gun
Project how to -
1. Cut 2 pieces of lace fabric
about 1/2 inch larger than the body of the hanger.
2. With the hot glue gun, glue one
piece of the lace fabric to one side of the body of the hanger.
3. Turn the hanger so the hanger is
laying on the lace fabric you just glued
on. Now sprinkle potpourri inside
the area of the hanger.
4. Now glue the other piece of lace
fabric on the hanger, sealing the
potpourri inside the hanger between
the two pieces of lace.
5. After the glue dries trim the
lace fabric close to the diameter of the hanger.
6. Glue the lace trim around the
diameter of the body of the hanger.
7. Tie a piece of ribbon in a bow
around the neck of the hanger.
Another idea: Another thing that
might be added to the Potpourri Hangers is a string of pearls. It
can be glued around the diameter after the lace trim has been
glue.

FITNESS
Getting Started with Exercise
1. Find an exercise that you are confident you can stick with- one
that you enjoy or at least somewhat enjoy.
2. Then
try to find a workout center that has this form of exercise.
For example, if you want to start boxing, try to find a gym that
has punching bags. Remember, try to find a place that you
pass on your way home- that way you can stop and work out BEFORE
you go home.
3. Take
a look at your schedule and figure out how much time you
realistically can devote to exercise without making it a burden-
this is very important!
4. Lastly,
get into an exercise routine and watch your body and confidence
slowly improve! Remember, 20 minutes of exercise is better
than no exercise.
