FEEDBACK FROM
SUBSCRIBERS
"Hi Lata. Great newsletter this
week! I say that because every week the newsletter may not help
each person but this week I found two things that I really
appreciated.
1: The tip on the Gentle Facial
Exfoliant. I really needed this and didn't want to spend money on
an expensive facial cleanser. I will try this out.
2. The article on "How to help your
downline". I have been signing up with companies and the person
above me may not know how to train me. So I am so grateful to get
this article. You are doing a great job."

HOT BUSINESS
TOPICS
Google Adwords or Overture?
In terms of results, ease, minimum
bids and utility, Dot Com Women members have been busy discussing
which works best for their business - Google Adwords or Overture.
Both these are Pay-per-click search
engines and the hottest ones around. Both are reputed to bring in
extremely targeted traffic to your websites. Overture retains it's
main benefit of being more user-friendly and Google outruns
everyone else when it comes to sending targeted traffic to your
website.
But this is only a generalized
opinion. For each and every website, one works better than the
other. So, we are not left with a choice other than the tried and
tested 'trial and error' method. Invest a small amount, say $50,
in each of them, and find out for yourself what works best for
your business. Do let us know at the forums, which is your
preferred PPC search engine, so it helps us make correct decisions
as well.

MAKEUP TIPS
Corporate Makeup
1. Less is More When entering the
corporate environment, it can be a little on the conservative
side. It doesn't mean you have to wear conservative makeup but you
should definitely take it down a notch. Stay away from looks and
colors that are too trendy and go with more of a classic makeup
style.
For example, instead of glitters
and high gloss lips go for sheer, shimmery wash eye shadows and
softer, sheer lips.
2. Pick a Feature and Make it Pop
Again, instead of playing up eyes, cheeks, and lips, pick your
best feature and make it pop. The eyes are always one of my
favorite features to concentrate on. Stay with colors that are on
the neutral side for more of a classic look and then add a sheer
fun color on the lid to bring it current.
And remember, the corporate look is
all about looking polished....so don't forget to groom those
brows!!!
3. Keep Your Lips Fresh Since you
want to put your best face forward while climbing the corporate
ladder, make sure to keep your lips in tip top condition. There is
nothing more distracting than dry, chapped, lips with a dark
colored lipstick on them. Put a lip conditioner on your lips every
night before bed to keep them soft and smooth. If you have a lot
of chapping on the lips, take an old toothbrush with a little dab
of moisturizer and gently brush your lips. Apply a lip treatment
afterwards. Before applying lipstick, use a nude lipliner to line
and fill in the entire lip to grab and prime your lipstick
