Spring is here
finally! I do not pass a field without noticing the lovely Spring
flowers it has to offer. Two little reminders for you - Don't put
off your spring cleaning any more and Don't forget to 'Spring
Forward' your clocks!
Back to business. The
'Easter Dessert
Recipes' contest ends tonight!
So, those who have that pretty little habit of mine - to wait till
the end before doing anything - rush in your entries soon! I am
closing the contest well in advance so that you get enough time to
test those recipes before Easter. I will put up all the winning
recipes (and also Beauty-Tips from the 'My Beauty Tips' contest) on
the website as soon as the winners are chosen although, of course,
all winners will be announced here in the nest issue. So, keep
looking out for it! Even I cannot wait to see who wins that lovely
'Easter Wishes' Gift Basket...lol.

acquiring Pyra Labs, a California-based 4-year-old company which
owns weblog site BLOGGER,
in an effort to get into the market of blogging.
Blogger boasts just

Beauty - Talk
Pamper yourself with this soothing bath at home!
Foaming Vanilla Honey Bath
- 1 cup sweet almond oil (light olive or sesame oil will also
do)
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup liquid soap (plain or flower scented)
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Mix all ingredients together and pour about 1/2 cup under running
water into the tub. Relax and enjoy!
Put the remaining mixture in a canning jar for later use and
refrigerate for up to 30 days.

KNITTING
TIPS
When knitting a sweater, knit both sleeves at
the same time, on the same needles, using two skeins of yarn. After
you have cast on each sleeve, pin the sleeves together. Now, if you
are interrupted, you'll know which sleeve is to be knitted next.
For binding off your knitting, substitute your right hand needle
with a larger sized one. This gives a more relaxed casting off, and
there's no need to worry that the edging will draw up and look
pulled.
Wooden needles will work better if you rub them with a soap filled
scouring pad before you start knitting.
When making a ribbed band in a color different from the main body of
the garment, eliminate an uneven look by picking up the first row of
stitches in the main color and then start your first rib row with
the contrasting color.
