LET'S TALK
BUSINESS
Creating A Successful Sales
Marketing Campaign
An often overlooked component of a successful sales marketing
campaign is cold calling on businesses. In today's electronic world,
physically visiting a potential business client is viewed as not
necessary. Quite the opposite is true. Cold calling on a business is
the oldest and proven method of gaining new customers.
What makes cold calling part of your sales marketing campaign a
success? Numbers. Importantly, how many calls get you in the door
for a presentation. How many of those presentations turned into a
solid sale? The consistency and accuracy of those two numbers will
make or break your sales force. Your sales force live and breath by
those numbers. They rely on them to make a living.
A huge mistake a business makes when putting a sales marketing plan
together is using their top producer sales figures. While every
business wishes all their sales team produces top numbers, it's
unrealistic. Inflated figures causes your sales team to get
discourage thus producing the exact opposite of your goal. Use a
realistic sales figures will produce a consistent sale for your
business. A number that not only your sales force and rely on but so
can you in your planning. Your sales force will be much happier and
often will go beyond your projected figures.
Another successful component of your sales marketing plan is to
place experience people in sales manager position. Some one who
knows what is like to "pound the pavement" for a sale. Your sales
force will follow and respect the marketing plan when the know some
experience is making the decisions. Don't forget about the sales
people who helped your company succeed and grow. A loyal sales force
will keep your company on a continued growth path.
In addition to the financial award for closing sale, your team will
stand behind you and your marketing plan when you show genuine
appreciation for efforts. The appreciation and acknowledge you give
your team will keep your business growing.

What You Need
- Wick
- Paraffin Wax
- Candle Mold
- Candle dyes in various colors
- Shallow Tray
Directions:
1. First you will need to prepare
chunks. You can use leftover chunks from other candle
projects. Or you make new ones by melting wax, adding color
and allowing to set in a shallow pan. You can use either
single-colored or multi-colored chunks.
2. Prepare the mold by spraying
oil and wicking it. Then fill the mold with chunks.
3. Melt (un-dyed) wax and add to
the mold. Allow to set completely.
Note: You can make different
types of candles by altering the number of colors and chunks
used. You can choose all your chunks to be of the same color
or different colors. The color of the 'filler wax' can also
be white or any other color that you choose to have.
You can also cut out all your
chunks in similar shapes or keep mismatched ones.
