Make a Ripple - Make a Difference

Greetings, Ripplemakers

Dear Fellow Christians,

Please pray for my Son, Jarrett who is now in Iraq as of March 2.  He is not allowed to tell us where he is but that doesn't matter for I know that prayer and God will reach him.

My family is strongly held together through our faith in the Lord, therefore I am not afraid and I sincerely hope that our boy feels the same.

As you pray for a protective hedge around this young man, please pray for his salvation and faith in the Lord.  And please pray for the others in his unit.

Imagine a young man full of wit, charm and a loving, giving spirit.  Without bias you may well be describing our Son.  Never one to brag, boast or take credit, this too is he to a tee.  My Son.

Thank you and may God continue to bless this website to reach millions and to go where we cannot...

Here is a little recall about my children...

Picture Box

I look at the picture of the children and I see Crystal as a mini mother and sister watching over her little brother, Jarrett, he no more than 4 and she just under 9 and I think where have the years gone.  Little brown-eyed fawns don't creep about the door anymore clamoring for hugs, kisses and something sweet to eat.

The heart wants its youth and those forget-me-nots of yesterdays gone by. Remember the dandelions you left on my doorknob so that when I opened it I would see the pretty yellow flowers?  I had to smile at that and also on the day that you stood outside that same door crying because I had not said goodbye and given you the kiss and hug you needed before boarding the bus.  I ache for that day to return again so I could sweep you up into my arms once more and smother you with kisses and tell you just how much I love you ...I just can't hold you anymore...my arms won't reach around your broad shoulders but last night when you called from Kuwait, my "I love you" wrapped around you a thousand times until it made a cocoon that only a mothers love will weave and it held you tight...My son, you are in my thoughts and prayers always and as I wrap you up in a cocoon of love I pray to our Father for your protection and safe return home.

Daughter, the apple of my eye, mini me, mini girl with pig tails that echoed Pippi Long Stocking, little one that watched me all the time and listened to me very well.  Always tenderly knowing, caring, showing us all of her strengths and some flaws but always, always sparkling bright shiny like the stellar star that you are, mystery, treasure, lure, sure, honest, true to us, precious best part of me that got out and formed a better part called daughter that you are!

Children grow up much too fast now...all the days that they are little should be cherished, held on to just a little longer, more pictures taken, memories preserved so that we never forget even one moment of wonderful and splendid beauty wrapped up in these little packages that are gifts from the Good One above.
