I have heard that there is millions of people
in this world that has never had or will have a Bible. Also there is
millions that never will see a Bible, even in someone hand. The only
Bible that they may see is someone that claims to be a Christian,
therefore it is wise to let your Christian light shine.
I was reading a little note from a lady who
lives in Canada. She said in the
note, that she had passed the story about the Glory Train to a
friend. The friend passed the story on to his grown children.
Seems he was kind of worried that his children may miss the ride on
the Glory Train. The man died, and his children had the Glory Train
Story worked into his memorial.
This put me to wondering about sermons we hear
from time to time. Maybe just some simple words put together on
something remembered from the past, may be the only sermon many
people will ever hear.
Maybe my simple story of the Glory train ride
to the land of the green green grass of Heaven won one soul to
believe in the ever lasting glory of God, Jesus, and a Manson on the
hill top.
Maybe that was the only sermon some might ever
hear. I never thought of it as a sermon. Maybe you never thought
of your words, actions, to others as a sermon. So maybe it would
be smart to think what is said, the words, the actions toward
others. It might be the only sermon.
