Dreams of
Miss Patricia Lipscomb

I think every one has dreams, I have a couple of them that keep running through my head ever so often.  One is a night mare.  I first remember this one as a child. It keeps coming back in my mind every once in a while.

I was talking to a young lady the other evening.  She and I were talking about dreams.  I had said something in my normal stupid way about love.  Her answer was ???in your dreams, big boy.???  So I guess I lost out one more time.

Well I know this young lady has a dream about some fellow she knows.  Now she is really in love with him.

The problem is he lives far off in another part of the country.  I am not sure if he hears bells when he does get her close by, she does I think.  She dreams about him I guess.  I think her dreams are in maybe G rated, she's a nice girl, well at times I too dream about a lady of long ago.  Not too much any more.  It has been a long time, I often think up what might have been.

I think some our dreams about things are about things that has not much of a chance to happen.  I sure hope my one night mare never happens.  You know maybe the other is a night mare that some how I got saved from too, that is the love life dream.

I know Tinker and Poo dream.  I have heard the little low woof bark, Watched the little feet padding along going no where, except in the dream.  Body making movements.  Tail swishing back and forth.

As the fellow of long ago used to say on the TV when he signed off, "Good Night Miss Calabash.  whereever you are."  The spelling may not be right on the name.  I am not good on that you know.  Well anyway, Good night,, Miss.Patricia Lipscomb.  Where ever you are, I will remember our last date.  And your love letters, sent from
903 Magnolia.
