Is there
anything more comfortable than life without SHOES? Not in
my life!
From the
time that I can remember, and that goes back 75yrs, I have
only worn SHOES to keep my tootsies warm, and to be accepted
in certain quarters that frown on the spectacle; the naked
toes.
During my
working years when I was enclosed in the confines of a desk,
chair and monitor, I would find myself to be SHOEless when
it became necessary for me to arise from my prison,
At the end
of a long day when I arrived home the very first thing that
I did was to shed my SHOES. Oh what a relief to do so and
sit in my recliner exercising the very feet that brought me
thus far.
Not only am
I the only one in my family to wish to display my tootsies,
my daughter has followed suit as well as my granddaughters
and my son in law. I have seen them take a walk in summer;
arm in arm in their neighborhood; free of the encumbered of
SHOES.
One day,
when I leave this early abode, I pray, earnestly, that there
will be no need for what else; SHOES.
