I was in my office typing a
story when, ???ding-a-ling ding-a-ling ding-a-ling.??? ? I heard
this little brass bell Johnnie keeps in the kitchen.? When
she has supper ready, instead of coming to the office to
tell me supper is ready or hollering at me she rings this
little bell.
If I happen to be playing music
on my computer and don??™t hear it, she will ring it until I
come to the table.? When that happens little fox will run to
the office and bark at me, then run back to the kitchen.
If I still don??™t come to the
table, she runs back and barks at me again.? This time she
stands in the office door barking until I get up from my
computer and follow her to the kitchen.
Johnnie is still standing there
ding-a-linging away.?
???Ok, ok you can stop that noise
now, here I am.???
???Well it??™s about time.? Your
food is probably cold by now.? If you want it warmed up, you
can do it yourself.???
Some times I put my plate in
the micro wave and warm up the food.? Other times I just eat
it cold.
When I sit down at the table I
look over and see little fox sitting on the floor next to
the table with a smug look on her face.? She knows she has
helped get me to the table and she expects a reward for it.?
There are usually a few bites of food left on my plate when
I??™m through eating and I put the plate on the floor next to
her water bowl so she can finish eating what ever is left on
my plate.
Johnnie says that I spoil her,
but I??™m not the one that lets her sleep in bed with me.
???Ok, so maybe both of us spoil
little fox.? What??™s wrong with that????
???I??™ll bet you spoil your dog or
cat also.????
