As we enter another holiday season, let
us not forget the ???reason for the season.??™
Without the ???star??™ over Bethlehem that
led to the birth of the baby Jesus, there would be no reason
to celebrate this most glorious time of year
Without the babe receiving gifts from
afar, there would be no holy reason to exchange gifts
Without the fullness of the inn
requiring the babe to be born in a manager, we would not
appreciate His humble birth.
Without the faith of the lowly
shepherds, we would not have reason to bow before this most
precious King of Kings.
Without the guidance of the angels,
would we follow the One who lie in the manger this most Holy
night, which we call Christmas?
Thank you, God, for sharing this sweet
baby boy who is the light of my life.
"For unto us a child is born, unto us a
son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulders
and His name shall be Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God,
The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." Isaiah 9:6
