Storytime Tapestry Newsletter a newsletter devoted to spreading love and cultural awareness throughout the world.

Today's announcements:

Since I am not fully operational yet, I still need to get a workable copy of microsoft office to run the newsletter properly, I decided I would pass on Paula Booher's morning devotionals, to give you guys something to read and to know that I am still out there and rest assured, nothing is going to stop Storytime Tapestry from running again.

If any of you would like to subscribe to Paula's newsletter she would welcome having you. her email address is:

wrappednword@yahoo.com

On another note please remember if you have sent in a story anytime in September or October chances are it has been lost with the computer crash please resubmit.

I am hoping to still run the annual halloween contest though it will be late this year, so please resubmit you halloween entries as well.

And now for the good stuff:

Here is Paula Booher's Devotionals for today:

Good morning everyone, Such wonderful news! Carol Roach is back online! Storytime Tapestry is soon to follow but not ready quite yet. There are details to tweak before her beloved newsletter will be up and running but she is at least able to communicate with the outside world again online. I literally Jumped for Joy and Praised God when I got the email from Carol herself this morning. Praise God for His speedy recovery and for all of you devoted prayer warriors who stood so faithfully in prayer through this crisis. Some might not think a computer crashing or an online newsletter to be Very important. It's not like a bleeding body or a life threatening illness to pray for yet it was Much more important than some Might be aware of. Carols' Storytime Tapestry brings people in touch in a deeper way. There is true fellowship that stems around the entire globe. It has become a World Wide ministry of sorts whether she views it as that or not, it literally has become that. She has connected all kinds of writers from foreign countries, cultures, and backgrounds, and brought them together under one umbrella to share their different lifestyles and beliefs. She has opened international doors that so many government officials have not been able to bridge and there is a conversation going on each and every day between these diverse cultures in a homelike setting. A peace has been established and friendships are being forged. Carol is Very important. God has given this woman of no means and very little reputation a Great responsibility to the growing group of Real Life people who have come to know her and depend on her every day. She is a light in a sometimes dark world that they Look forward to for inspiration and encouragement. The stories from her writers allow them glimpses into a simpler time when things weren't so harsh or perhaps a different viewpoint to share from someone that allows the reader to see the worlds problems from another standpoint so they can better understand and become enlightened. Storytime Tapestry is much more than just someones opinion or another online newsletter. It's got heart and soul. It breaths life into a sometimes dying world where little hope gets to some people. It shines light into dark places and shares stories of that hope when someone is hanging on by a thread. There is laughter when someone needs it most and prayers. God is nerver too far away for those standing and waiting to hear a Word from our Creator. So you see Carols' Storytime Tapestry is Much More than just another newsletter. It's the heart of all people, a place where their voice Can be heard and shared with others. Whomever supports this place has literally touched the heart of God. I'm priveleged God led me this way and So Happy to be a part of what He is Doing here... Welcome back Carol, I missed you Very Much...love ya girlfriend, Paula This is the day the Lord hath made I Will Rejoice and Be Glad in it... ANNOUNCEMENTS: CAROLS' BACK! She Can be reached at winterose@videotron.ca for her personal details. I'm sure she'd love to hear from each and every one of you! Praise Reports: Joe Taylor was released from the hospital yesterday. I don't know What the problem was or if he had a heart attack or stroke but he was released and sent home. Good news either way. Thanks to All of you for your prayers. Joe Taylor is a long standing personal friend of mine and I'm happy he is Still alive! Long story... Angela 'Kaye' Plunk is doing Much better. She had the initial package or wrap removed from her broken ankle/foot from the totaled van accident she was in week before last and she reports to me she is Doing much better. The doctor was most impressed with her recovery and stated that she is being a Good Girl with her theorpy and not doing anything that she is not supposed to be doing while recovering. Good news! Prayer Closet: Father God please forgive me for My sin, My outburst, and My shortcomings...In Jesus Name Amen. Paula Davis, a personal friend of mine, (Little Paula), is due to have out patient gall bladder surgery Monday. She is going in for test this morning. For those of you who don't know, she is back in Springfield. Please offer up prayer for Paula for many reasons. She is going through some personal turmoils and until she gives me permission I would not like to discuss it just now but her surgery is top priority so prayers please.
