Rainbow Bridge Gang.  Ms.Doogie

Tinker and Poo

tinkerpoo2000@yahoo.com

We was all setting here, talking about different things that went on while back there with you people.  Misty Blue was telling about some of her life stories. Now we have never told about Misty, but this gal has a lot to bark about. Her Mark took her on a lot of plane rides.  From her talk we got it figured out he was quite a wheel of some kind.   He did a lot of travel by air.  Well we all did a lot of travel by air you know.  Most of us had nose out the window of the buggy grabbing a breath of fresh air.  Now us, Tink and Poo we always had our nose stuck in the air vents, getting that A/C air.  About the only time had nose out the window,, was talking to the horses we seen over in a field as we passed by.

Anyways we know some of the adventures that Misty went on. Guess from the bark, that must be quite a way of travel. Misty hasn't told us if she ever tried the paws at flying the thing, like we tried out driving the Jeep that time.

Well we was just setting here doing the small talk, when Misty perked up, and looked down the lane.  Misty got up and with a lot of barking went running toward a new comer.  She came back with this new one, and we found out this is Ms.Doogie.  Ms.Doogie we got the news this is family also of Mark, and Sandra.  Guess in time we're going to get more wild plane ride stories.

Well we ordered up another bag of treats, and a cool bowl of water, a rug, and the blanket for Ms. Doogie.  We asked which she like to be called, Ms, or Doogie, or both together.  She said well just don't forget to call for the meals,  might get a bit up set.  Where and when haven't we heard that before?  That bunch of Ma Bakers gang is always first in the chow line, that runt Fancy never gets filled up.  Dad Gum woman must have starved the poor thing to death.

So Mark,  your Misty Blue, and Ms.Doogie will be here, with one another, running, playing, yapping together. Both will be watching, and waiting for the time when you and Sandra comes home to be with them and the others.

They both said that they hope you look around and give some space for a new one,, not as a replacement of Ms.Doogie, but as a part of your life,,  just as they were.  We all have heard about your big hearts, yours and Sandra. Isn't that the case with all doggie lovers, big super size hearts.  We know,,,  all of us,  your crying your eye balls red over the going away of Mr.Doogie, just like you did when Misty Blue answered the call to come home.  Remember we are not far away, just on the other side of the curtain, and someday, God will call you home to live in the Mansion on the hill top with Misty and Ms.Doogie and the others..  Happy Days are here again when that time comes.

 MY SONS

Joe Mazzella

Raising two sons with Autism has been the most difficult challenge that I
have ever faced in this life. Watching them deal daily with their handicaps
and trying to help them in every way I can has at times been painful,
frustrating, and even heart-breaking. Through it all, though, I have gained
more wisdom about living than I could have ever imagined. My two sons have
been my teachers as well as my students on how to live and how to love. They
have taught me more than I could ever have learned on my own and they
continue to show me more each day.

I have learned from them that I am no better than anyone else in this world.
I may be able to do some things that they can't, but their lives are just as
precious and just as valuable as mine. As I watch my oldest son be a friend
to everyone in his school and share his simple kindness with everyone he
meets I am warmed to the depths of my being. I know too that he has touched
hearts and brightened souls everyday of his life here with his gentle spirit
and smiling face.

I have learned too from them that we are all Children of God. We were all
created by the same loving hand. We are all souls in bodies sent here to
choose love, to share love, and to learn about love. When I look into my
youngest son's shining eyes I can see that loving soul within. He may not be
able to say more than a few words, but his laughter, smiles, and hugs speak
volumes. He may face a lifetime of challenges, but he will still be teaching
the world about love and joy everyday of it.

Having these two sons has shown me just how much God loves us and just how
much God wants us to love each other. I try then to share my love and my joy
everyday with them, with my beautiful daughter, with my loving family, with
my wonderful friends, and with all of you special souls who read my simple
words. I hope that you all do the same.

Integrity

Janice Bumbalough Marler

poetrybyjan@aol.com

Integrity:  Oxford Dictionary of Current English
Third Edition 2001

Integrity:  Wholeness, Character, Fiber:  Moral soundness.

While reading from the book of JOB this week, Kings James version, I gained new insight into Job's character.   God said that Job was perfect and upright.   I pondered the word perfect. (Adjective: Being complete of its kind, without defect or blemish.)  He feared God and eschewed evil.  He was an upright man. God knew Job's heart and how much he loved God and respected Him.  Job loved his children although they sinned and didn't respect God as much as he did.  When his children's fasting was ended Job offered burnt offerings for each of them.  Job did this continually.  When calamity fell upon Job he still worshipped God saying, "Naked came I out of my mothers womb and naked shall I return thither.  The Lord gave and the Lord hath taken away, blessed be the name of the Lord.  In all this Job sinned not nor charged God foolishly.  In the second chapter of Job the Lord told Satan that Job was an upright man, one that feared God and eschewed evil.  He told Satan that Job held fast to his integrity.

How many of us, as Christians can say, through all of our trials, the ones that Satan sends against us, that we hold fast to our integrity?  Sometimes that's all we have left.
This year alone, I have undergone three surgeries.  I have asked God why?  I know He has a reason for all that He does.  So I took advantage of those situations to distribute Jim's newspaper, My Walk With Jesus.  I gave them to Doctors, nurses in pre-op, the nurses that attended me in my room.  The paper was received with great joy.  One of the nurses told me she had placed them in their break-room.  I left two for my surgeon.  When I go to the hospital, for whatever test I have to have, I leave them in the waiting rooms.  I placed them in the waiting room where patients were waiting for their pre-op instructions.  Jim told me that he had received two telephone calls from Raleigh, where I had deposited them in Doctors offices.   I can take the pain because while I am going through these physical difficulties I take the opportunity to spread God's word.

Job's wife told him to curse God and die.  He told her she was speaking like a foolish woman speaketh.  What shall we receive good at the hand of God and shall not receive evil? In all this Job did not sin with his lips.   Job: 2: 10

Job wished he had not been born.   I believe all of us, at one time or another, have wished the same thing, but God is not through with us.  Often we turn to those whom we believe have the answers.   Alas they do not have the answers we need to hear.  I also believe God delivers us from evil.  It may take awhile before we can see what He has done for us and how He delivered us from the enemies in our lives and those who seek to do us harm, but eventually our eyes are opened to his deliverences.

I have been delivered from those who sought to harm me.  It took several years before I began to see the wonderful things God had in mind for me.  He knows my heart.  The bible tells us that our enemies are those of our own household.)  How pitiful.  God tells us 'If you love mother, father, brother or sister more than me, then you do not deserve me.

Job 14:1  Man that is born of woman is of few days and full of trouble.
Job 14:5   Seeing that his days are numbered, the number of his months are with thee, thou hath appointed his bounds that he cannot pass.

Job 42:

Job told God that he knew God could do everything, that no thought could be withholden from Him.  Who is he that hideth counsel without knowledge? Therefore I have I uttered that I have understood not.  Things to wonderful for me, which I knew not.  Hear, I beseech thee, and I will speak. I will demand of thee, and declare unto me, I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear, but now mine eye seeth thee.  Wherefore I abhore myself and repent in dust and ashes.  7:  And it was so, that after the Lord had spoken
These words unto Job, the Lord spoke to Eliphaz the Temanite, My wrath is kindled against thee, and against thy two friends for ye have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job hath.  Now take you now seven bullocks and seven rams and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering, and my servant Job shall pray for you, for him I will accept lest I deal with you after your folly, in that ye have not spoken of me the thing that which is right, like my servant Job.

Job 41:10  And the Lord turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends:
Also the Lord gave Job twice as he had before

Job 41:12  So the Lord blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning

The book of Job has taught me that no matter what my enemies have done to me, and how they have tried to destroy my integrity, that I am to pray for them.  Blessed be the name of the Lord.
