mail. Many of the soldiers enjoy getting an actual letter that they can lay
their hands on and take with them when they are in the field. Not all CF
members have access to a computer. To write to a Canadian soldier in http://www.forces.gc.ca/site/community/messageboard/addresses_e.asp Do not include an insert of any kind, such as food, treats, clothing
etc., or your message will be returned to sender. Right now the best thing you
can send is a bundle of Christmas cards or letters wishing our troops a happy
holiday season. Postcards will be forwarded. If you wish to make a donation to give a soldier a gift for
Christmas, or if you would like to post an online holiday
message to our deployed, you can do it online here: http://www.cfpsa.com/en/psp/amenities/opsanta/santa.asp I am going to approach my grandsons' teachers about writing a Christmas
letter to deployed soldiers. If you belong to a group, please encourage the
members to send a bundle of Christmas letters to our troops. |
