Storytime Tapestry Newsletter The newsletter devoted to
spreading love and cultural awareness around the world. Carol, I met a
minister last week who found out I send boxes to our troops. He has a
little pamphlet he puts out and it contains stories about faith, old time
stories of incidents about church, etc. The minister
has his pamphlet in 17 countries but not in I came up with
an idea if any of the folks on Storytime would like to give a hand. Tell
a story, email it to me, and give me permission to have it printed in this
pamphlet. The stories can
be funny (something the troops sure could use is something cheerful) but they
should be true life events. Folks could
tell a story about something they remember as a child on their way to church,
in church, etc. Incidents of something that happened that tested your
faith.......things like this. If anyone is
interested, and they want their email address printed in the pamphlet, add it
to the story. If they only want their initials printed, just let me know. But I need
permission by the writer to do this. I will be
talking to the minister in the morning, and I told him I'd see what I could do. I myself can
think of many things that were funny that happened to me when I was in church
as a child. Like when my brother who was only 4 went with me one
time. When we began singing songs, the only song he knew was Old McDonald
had a farm. His voice belted out with that and I remember my grandma and mom
were horrified! I was almost 8 and I thought it was funny. So did
all the other kids. Thanks, Sharon Bryant 1946@Bellsouth.net |
