God’s Perpetual Essence: Eternity Exists Outside the Law of the Universe

By Jan Verhoeff

Note: Gender specifics not intended to amuse, diffuse, or abuse, but simple to identify any given singular person.

You’ve met that person who seems to feel a need to dominate every situation, she pounds her humble fist on the table demanding that she’s right, she knows, she’s the only one who has the answer, and her answer is the only solution to life’s problems? She preaches a good tale, but does she live it?

When you meet her you’ll be amazed at the volumes with which she demands love, trust, and faith. And repulsed by her inability to give what she herself demands from her own limited resources.

Leadership reverberates with humble servitude.

When a supposed leader begins trumping her ’humble spirit’, watch out. She’s about to pile on the domination! Humbleness doesn’t need to be stated, it’s obvious. When one gives humbly, from a position of eternal power, they don’t have to tell you how much they love and care for you; it shows. When one serves you humbly, from the depths of God given love, warmth and concern emanate from that person.

Those who waste your time telling you how humble they are, probably are not. Their resources are limited and meaningless.

Show me the love, don’t tell me about it.

A gentle, kind, and giving person doesn’t have to spew words of care and concern; their love is recognizable. When I find myself basking in the presence of someone who insists on telling me how much they care about me, I start looking for proof. Surprisingly, it’s often missing. The reality is simple. When love is real, God given and eternal, it doesn’t have to be stated into existence.

I’m not suggesting that you never tell someone you care about them, or how much you love them. I am suggesting that if you truly care, your love will show, and stating your love will only be reinforcement of the fact.

When love is somehow limited to the surface, and not emanating from the source, it lacks sustenance and value.

Cause and effect are laws of nature.

When tolerance and condemnation conflict, war reverberates through eternity. Often the word love is used to equate tolerance. When love isn’t the cause the effect is intolerable and conflict results.

The pebble in the ocean theory is effective only when we fail to understand the power of God’s love. In a closed environment the waves reverberate, but eternity is not a closed environment. Eternity has no beginning and no end, forgiveness and love are eternal concepts.

Once we understand the power of God’s love we begin to comprehend the misconception of Universal Law and realize the value of standing on the power of creation. We begin to comprehend the depth and volume of God.

Character flaws appear in even the most self-righteous.

Those who proclaim knowledge and understanding of the laws, often fail first. The struggle to maintain “perfection” while focused on self render them incapable of seeing what is real.

When we focus on God, we perceive the greater vision and the horizon never ends. God will never fail us. Self-righteous and self-serving laws confined to a limited universe can’t fulfill our needs, and consistently fail to meet our expectations. Character flaws become failure we can’t accept, and we cease to comprehend the value of love and forgiveness.

Self -righteous people lack the ability to accept the power of God, which is eternal and never fails.

Desperate domination lacks wholeness.

When self-seeking domination demands attention and pushes to control with the limited resources inside the laws of the universe, desperation reveals a lack of continuity. God’s eternal love is whole and includes the laws of the universe He created.

The ultimate existence of God is both inside and outside the box that contains the universe. He’s bigger than the universe he created and therefore fills it up and surrounds it, eliminating the restrictions and limitations of a sealed universe where ripples reverberate contained in a finite space.

God’s love is eternal. His love is powerful enough to forgive and surround that which limits the existence of man.

Universal existence sits in the box exasperated by the tolerance it proclaims, claiming that God too is in the box. Those who claim understanding of the laws of the universe and attempt to cage them into a box with tolerance and compliance of universal limitations deny the very depth of eternal existence. God created the universe from beyond the confines of mathematic equations and scientific proof. God himself existed before the universe and will continue to exist long after the universe. He spoke the universe into existence from the perpetual essence of eternity.

From a doctrine of eternal life, humanity exists for a purpose, divine and enduring, we are subsequent to God. God created humanity gave us free will and allows us to choose, all while providing as he promised he would. While we attempt to understand by confining God’s existence to our comprehension, he waits for us to simply accept him.

As profound as this may be, the simple fact is that God is the Great I AM.
