-----        URGENT PRAYER REQUEST

This is an urgent request.

I NEED PRAYER! Please pray for me. Pray for a Spiritual Healing. Pray for a physical Healing. Pray for finances. I am in need of money to pay my monthly obligations. Unable to pay my apartment lease payment at this time.

If you are able please send what you can. If you wish I will consider it as a loan and some how repay you.

I am now working but will not receive any money until one of my loans or house purchases close. Presently I have four of each working.

The most important of these is the Spiritual Healing. Then Physical Healing. The doctors say I have a hiatus hernia. Also my hips need to be replaced. With my Insurance and Medicare will cover all or most of the operations. However I need to get things paid ahead for the surgery. All of my expenses must be met for a couple of months before I can comfortably under go the surgery. Also I must maintain my Insurance monthly payments. My supplemental insurance is $ 160.00 per month. My Prescription coverage is another $ 42.00 per month. I do not have these funds at the present time.

Another prayer matter of much importance is asking God to guide me; shall I continue with the devotional publication? I have been publishing the Christian Information for the past 6 years. I cannot hire help to help me. I do not have the funds. I haven?t been able to publish them lately do, to trying to get an income coming in.

Also what shall I do with the Sharing Gods Word web site. Shall I expand it to have many added features to help people in their Christian walk? Shall I turn it over to someone else who has the resources to expand it, to help people?

I do appreciate your prayers. Thank you so much. I also appreciate what ever you are able to send me at the present time.

You can mail any checks to Brother Jim @ P. O. Box 13794 Las Vegas, NV 89112-1794

Make them payable to Jim Little please.

Thank you again for your continued prayers and support

Blessed Be

B.J. Cassady

One of the things that I have noticed in the
past few years that seem to be dying out is the lack
of Blessings.  When I mention Blessings and I do
capitalize the word because it is a Godly word, I mean
not only to Bless food, but to Bless our home, our
lives, our family.

When was the last time you visited your family,
your children and when you were about to leave...
did you leave them with a Blessing?  Bless them.
Bless their lives, Bless their home.  Bless from your
heart and just not say words.  Blessings are a
connection to our spiritual soul and to our heart.
We take the Love in our heart, connect it to our
Faith and merge the message into a Blessing.

Why do we need Blessings?  The world attacks
us from all sides.  We need all the protection we
can get.  Our family, our friends, our faith.
Blessings are the binding that connects them all
and gives us strength to make it though the day.

Before my wife has surgery next week, I will
Bless her, to give her and me comfort.

This short message may be a Blessing to some
of you.  I sincerely hope so.  Blessings be to you
and yours.

   ~ Sometimes, We Forget ~

Joyce C. Lock

For most of my youngest daughter's life, the devil tormented me with fear that he would take her.  It didn't help that she would disappear, in a matter of seconds; many times, throughout the years.  I couldn't take her shopping and let go of her hand (long enough to look at a price tag) without her being gone, every time!  And many a times, I couldn't even stand up straight for the stomach pain, once past exhaustion, and her still not appearing.  Through those years, I quoted scripture to the fullest extent possible, if my mind could focus to think of any at all; gradually getting stronger and stronger against that fear.  She was even in an automobile accident wherein I was her caretaker for a couple of those years.

And if that weren't enough, she was also so tiny, dainty, and fragile looking, she always left me with this feeling that she needed protected - as if she'd otherwise break.  And so I did, not suffocating but always watching for her welfare.

But one day, seemingly healthy and safe as a teenager, she was in the kitchen and dished herself out a bowl of broccoli casserole I had just made.  Then, unexpectedly, she said, "What is that in my mouth!?"  She spit it out in her hand and walked over to the sink, where there was also more light, and she said, "It's glass."  Apparently, the casserole bowl lid had gotten chipped.

Then, rather pointedly, God said, "See, I'm the only one who can protect her all the time."  And with that bit of truth, fear has had no open door to return.

Sometimes, we forget that God loves our children even more than we do.

When Will The Troubled Times End

Cynthia Groopman

When will the troubled time end?
And when will the world's broken spirit and heart,
Be healed and on the mend?
When will the air be pure?
And people will be content and secure.
When will worries fly away,
And travail no longer plagues the weary soul each day.
When will the sky of life be eternally bright,
As God assures us with His warm glowing eternal light?
These answers to these questions lie in God's hands,
As He is the creator and leader of all the world's lands.
So, have faith, courage and hope, my dear friend,
And doleful times will finally come to an end.

Whistling
Cynthia Groopman

Whistling I hear,
Calling me in a voice so loud and clear.
First it is the kettle full of water for tea,
And a nice warm drink awaits me.
Howling in a whistling tone,
The angry wind reminds me of a vicious king,
Commanding as he sits upon the regal throne.
Whistling a merry tune,
The workman's cheerful voice reminds me of a sunny day,
In the flowering month of June.
Thus, whistling sounds have different meanings for me,
And they are puzzling, at times, as you can plainly see.

The Little Things In Life Mean So Much
Cynthia Groopman

When I was a child, by my Mom, I was taught,
And now as a middle aged adult I am engaged in nostalgic thought.
The little things in life to me matter so very much,
A smile, a hug, a kiss and a gentle loving touch.
A kind word that blossoms and blooms,
Inspiring my heart to dance to a cheerful optimistic tune.
Encouragement and caring, when I feel down and my spirits are low,
Cause me to bask in the rainbow's hopeful golden glow.
A surprise phone call, when I am alone,
Is music to my ears, singing in a majestic melodic tone.
An e-mail full of sharing and love,
Fills my soul with the twinkling ray of stars,
Dancing in the velvety dark sky above.
Delicious food and drink eaten with those who are dear,
Reinforce the lesson that we cherish life's small things,
In a way so vivid and clear.
