Storytime Tapestry Newsletter The newsletter devoted to
spreading love and cultural awareness around the world. Today’s Announcements It has come to my attention that the
April 6th newsletter was not complete. Nell Berry’s story did not transmit, so I am
including them here at this time. Jesus, The Crucified By Nell Berry Jesus prayed, “if it is
possible, let this cup pass from me.” He sweat great drops like
blood, “but thy will not mine to be.” Again He prayed and
agonized, “Father if it can possibly be,” Jesus, the Son of God
cried, “let this cup pass from me.” He heard the sound of foot
steps; He knew it was His time, going forth to meet His
captors, to suffer for your sin and mine. The
mock trial His enemy staged, GUILTY this sinless Man to find, the scourging, torture
beyond human endurance, the guilt
misplaced, it’s mine. He took up the cross for
you and me, our sin, our guilt, not His to blame, our transgressions nailed
to the tree, on Up a crown of thorns crowned
our King, We honor, glorify and
magnify Him. Mary went to the tomb,
three days had passed, the tomb was empty, “Where
is He?” she asked. Then she saw Jesus, not
knowing it was He, until He spoke and called
her name, “Mary”. She took hold of His hand,
“Don’t touch me,” He said. “I have not yet ascended.” HE
IS NOT DEAD! The stone was rolled away,
only the grave clothes remained. Jesus Christ the Lamb of
God, was for sinners slain. But now, He is risen,
nothing is the same, Jesus the crucified, we
praise His holy name. ~**~**~ The Alabaster Box by Nell Berry Simon, the Pharisee, sat
eating one night, with Jesus, his honored guest. A woman from As she entered the room
where Jesus sat, she began to cry, when she saw the Messiah,
tears filled her lovely eyes. She had an alabaster box,
of oils and rare perfumes. As she knelt before the
Lord, the fragrance filled the room. She broke the alabaster box
and poured it on His head. The precious oils and rare
perfumes, through Jesus beard was spread. As she poured the oil from
the broken vessel, like liquid love, it
enfolded Him. She recognized Him as unique very special, and love flowed from Him. The poor could be served
with the sale of this oil, some said it was a waste. But Jesus said of the
blessings that would be hers, they should taste. The Messiah, for burial she
prepared. She washed His feet with
her tears, and dried them with her
hair. Not many days hence, He
would hang on a tree, suffer an agonizing death,
on a hill called Three days, the tomb was
sealed, three days, the gaurds were retained. But what they could not
have known, Jesus could not be
restrained. In the stone, cold darkness
of that awful tomb, where the Messiah's body
had lain, the grave clothes were
still there, but Jesus, no longer
remained. He had left the tomb to
finish His work, to set the captives free, to break the bonds of sin
and take back the keys. The keys of death that
could not defeat Him, on Him, hell had no claim. The grave was just a
holding place, until He rose again. He overcame the devil and
broke his bondage of sin. Ascending to the Father, He
sent His Holy Spirit to us, to comfort and dwell
within. Storytime Tapestry Angels Angels on earth, they exist they are out there. Angels come in all ages, shapes and sizes,
