 Bones

Bill Walker

missourisage@yahoo.com

I been hearing about some clowns that is making the claim of finding the bones of Jesus. I guess there is a lot that will say yes the bones has been found.  And why not?  These are great thinkers, and people of many letters.  The PhD stuff, and so on.  You do know what PhD stands for don't you?  Piled higher and deeper.  I am not going to say just what is piled higher and deeper, I will leave that up to you.  Now in my travels about, I have known some of letters, that has to be very smart people.  I knew a man by the name of McCall.  He had so many letters tacked to his name, I am sure he was over loaded.  The thing is he said this.  No one is ever going to know or be smart enough to know all the answers.  Even all put together, really knows very little.  God knows all, we only know a little.

These so called learned people have found some bones,  bones can be found about any day of the week, somewhere , but who belongs to said bones, and what is/are the bones of?  Maybe there is some bones that shows signs of having a nail ran by said bone, so what?  This in its self proves really nothing.  You say there is ways of finding out how old the bones would be? This is true, very true, but.  There is  a few things you better think about. We really don't know just how many people died in this fashion. This was such a common thing, the Bible don't go into great long dragged out story about the horror of such death. There is many places that tells of the horror, but the case of Jesus,  we have to go read many places before the fact.  The writers of the time had seen maybe hundreds of such deaths.  So these great minds and thinkers had better back track and come up with some more of their piled higher and deeper crap.

These learned people has some bones. These learned people has all the answers.   This is because these people are great con artists  to start with.  These people con people a great deal of the time with a snow job, to give other learned people a job later on proving we was given a snow job.

These bones may well be Peter, Paul, Mary, John, or any one else you would name,, but there is no way these bones belong to a man name of Jesus.  My Jesus, died on the cross, very true,, but it is on record, he walked out of the grave on what we say was the third day.  He is alive to day, he will return some day, and blast these non believers into the bottomless pits of hell.

Getting back to Dr.McCall.  There was one smart man. He said it well, when he said we think maybe we know, but do we really know?  We know so little when you boil it all down.

 Apparition

 Mary Dees

Transcendental light flickering.

I wake with no regret.

While the wall dancing shadows,

Drip like candle sweat.

The voices droned their chant,

Forcing me to comprehend.

I must not be alone;

I may not be alone again?

Was I supposed to see them,

I asked myself in vain?

Was I supposed to justify,

The reasons that they came?

Peering over my shoulder,

Not only the eyes of night.

Cold breath kissed my neck,

Then slowly drifted out of sight.

Slumber hushed my disbelief,

In one single moment fleeting.

No names here on my lips now,

Seems the spirits too are sleeping.

Exposed

(For Christopher)

 Mary Dees

Busy day, keep tumbling by,

Dissolve the blue, out of the sky.

Light beams flickering, fraudulent light,

Choking the real, out of the night.

Trees slumping low, with hefty dew,

In drops trickling down, I think of you.

Lovingly touching me in the dampened air,

Holding me gently, my shoulders bare.

Mysteriously, I realize the night can see,

It has memorized, what you still are to me.

Bold and fearless, still and proud,

Always there, coming back somehow.

Raising our eyes, we see you again,

The night and I, are becoming friends.

Your glowing there, while up so far,

You are the brilliant, found in the stars.

Setting down, on the cool grass I find,

I'm never alone, when your in my mind.

I know my discovery permits you to live on,

Even beyond the day, when the sun is gone.

Here with me close, or too far away,

Time hasn't led, my heart to sway.

As long as there is dark in any night.

And just before the morning peeks in the light.

I'll close my eyes, bow my head and pray,

That I can feel you here - safe in my day.
