It is almost Christmas time and the gift giving season.  Our writer Bonnie Carriles who has a slew of stories waiting in the queue to come out, and I have not had the opportunity to post them by the way, needs our help.  Not only will helping her out and possibly saving her from eviction, you will be helping her get on her feet and get her business well underway.  Bonnie makes her own candles and this is a new and fledgling business.  Furthermore, you will be helping yourself with beautiful candles for your home and gifts for the holiday season.  Check out the books as well.  How could I run Storytime Tapestry without stressing the importance of reading for the young and the young at heart?  In the spirit of the upcoming season, and the spirit that has always been the forte and best quality of Storytime Tapestry, let’s see what we can do to help.

Dear Storytime Tapestry Friends

Two years ago my oldest daughter got bit by the manager’s dog and I have been fighting to get rid of it since. But, two weeks ago my daughter was riding around the block and the dog (on a leash and with its owner) attacked and took her off her bike injuring her leg. I called animal control to get the animal quarantined and make a report. They came out Saturday and were going to leave the dog to be quarantined in the home but I threw a fit and had it removed. The next business day we received an eviction notice for late rent. Since I was diagnosed with heart disease, we have been behind but I kept paying and paying and my balance seemed to never change. I asked her for a statement and found that she had been (by her own stupid statement) ripping me off for years. Just as an example these are just two parts that it says:

Payment by M.O. for $200.00 (but in the column where she subtracted) – 85.00

Payment 2 M.O. for $200.00 & 150.00 (in her column)     - 245.00

Now I am not mathematician but that’s a lot of money that she is pocketing. This is just the tip of the iceberg..yes there is a lot more. So, I went to a lawyer at which time I was told I have a very strong case. But, legal aide is not available until November and I am not paying a lawyer to represent me anyways but wanted to know I had a case. But, I was also informed that I have to put the money she is saying that I owe into escrow and when the case is heard by the judge, he will allocate the funds to whoever. But, the big problem is that I do not have the money to pay what she is asking which is almost 600 more than I actually owe (I have 5 years of records). So, why am I telling you right? Because I need help and have exhausted all of my options. No, I am not asking for money or anything other than your friendship, support, and prayers. But, I also decided to sell some of my things…not that I want to but I have too. My court date in on October 1, 2007 and I have to have the money by then so I am begging for you to please check out my website and see if you might want to purchase one of my candles.
