Storytime Tapestry Newsletter The newsletter devoted to
spreading love and cultural awareness around the world Christian Meditations – A
Chris Hansen Column I am very please to tell you that Chris Hansen will be
heading this new column. It will bring
joy to the many Christian members on this site. My Father Knows My Name By Chris Hansen chrishansen54@sbcglobal.net Author: “Revelation Revisited,” “Secret of the Psalms,”
“Grandfather’s Journal.” www.xlibris.com 1-888-795-4274 local
bookstores. The God who
made all heaven, where with one call, ten thousand angels will attend, This God wants to be my Father, and wants to be my
friend. This God who made the vastness of outer space, where
countless stars are seen, Where light wears itself out trying to cross the
distances between. This God wants to be so near, as to hear my every word, That even in my sleep, the softest whisper can be heard. This God sends the whirlwind and the hailstorm across the
sky, Yet when I tremble at the thunder, he says, “Fear not,
for it is I!” This God who hurled my world through space at sixty
thousand miles an hour, Wants to keep me safe, with all that mighty power! There seems to
be no end to the deepness and wideness of the sea, Yet in all that, God chooses to remember me. God controls the great Leviathan that beats the sea, with
thunder in his tail! Yet, God made tiny me promises that his love for me will
never fail. At first, for
little creatures, parenthood is something strange and new. Yet, God tells each mother, and father, exactly what to
do. Around each corner of my life, God leaves a special clue. God wants to be my Father, I know this because, God made me so very well, Creatively fashioning each and every cell. Since he went to all that bother, I know that on each and every cell he wrote my name! I still
remember former days, When I refused to give you praise, Yet you loved me all the same! I disbelieved what Jesus Christ had done. Yet, your love was always true, And somehow you always knew, That someday you would take me as your son. Father, you know how much I fall, And my sins, you know them all, You know the tragic weakness of my frame! And yet, you love me so! And I’m so glad to know, That you, my Father, really know my name! |
