Call For Submissions

Well as you know Storytime Tapestry was done for 4 days and so it was hard to get the Halloween contest underway, but it is back up and running.  We do not have that many submissions, so if you still want a Halloween contest you need to get the submissions in ASAP.

The Annual Halloween Contest.

It is October again, and that means it is time for our annual and very popular Halloween contest.  This is the time the writers get the chance to demonstrate their amazing ability to scare us all to death!

All poetry and stories are accepted providing they were not published by Storytime tapestry before.

It is okay to send me your work that was published elsewhere as long as I didn’t already publish it.

There is no restriction on the length of your submission; it can be as long or as short as you like.

Limit of 4 entries per person

Contest closes on November 5, and the winner will be announced on November 6

Anything Halloween,

Scary stories of any kind (not necessary Halloween related)

History of Halloween

Stories of the supernatural

and that does include Angels (scary or not, some nice stories of angels helping humans will apply here)

Halloween reminiscing, funny, cute, stories about your experiences going out on Halloween as a child.

Ghost stories, that you or even your grandmother told you about

Famous legends, such The Headless Horseman, Bloody Mary, Blare Witch Project, Witches of Salem, tales of shipwrecks and looting Pirates,

Mythology, such as the sirens of Greek mythology

And more.

Let’s make this our best Halloween contest ever!
