So Irresistible

Bonnie Carriles

What is it about bubble wrap that makes even the strongest adult to fall prey to its enticement?

I went to the store to purchase bubble wrap so that my very first candle order can go in the mail in the morning. I couldn’t even get it to the register without my daughter "just having to pop a few".

I even noticed that it didn’t make it into my bag when the cashier accidentally popped a couple. So, I made it home and set the bubble wrap down and went to the bathroom. When I got back the other two children were beginning to fight over the bubble wrap.

Shew close call. So, I took it to my room and put it on the dresser where my husband had to...just had ta pop some of the bubbles. So, when I finally get the candles wrapped my family members were ready to throw down for the remaining bubbles.

What is it about bubble wrap that makes people go bonkers?

MY HOME

Dr. Harmander Singh

"Dad, are you going to sell this house?my younger son asked me.

"Yes Dear! We've to, because we need bigger house,” I replied.

"But dad, this is our very beautiful home. Why do you want to sell it?” he protested.

"We'll buy a better home,” I replied.

"Dad, do you think there are better boys than me?” he asked.

"There may be better boys, but you're my own. However, why do you want to know this? This is not a good question,” I was not expecting such reaction.

"Good question! I fell if you find better boy than me you'd try to have him as you want to replace this home,” he said innocently.

"My son, do not you leave the train when station has come?” I asked.

"Yes, I do, indeed,” he replied.

"This is just a building. Home is where we are. We are selling only the house, our building. You are grown up, you'll be of 10 years on the 28th February,” I said to him.

"Yes Dad, you've put my burden off. Home is where we are. We'll keep this feeling up in our new house.” He said and hugged me.

When we bought new home, he took off the plate on which it was printed 'Our Home'. He put it on the main gate. He wrote on his room "My Home.” He always looked it in the morning and before going to bed. His and our own home is one.

Daily Moral Insight for a Peaceful Night

Are not the feelings of home giving us the charm of oneness?

Is not it the great harmony to fell that something or someone is our very own?

Is not it a great charm to feel homely with a house?

Are not we having blessings with the feelings of oneness with persons or humans as homes?

Is not it great to enjoy that this city, state, country, world and the universe is our big home?

I Am Truly Sorry For

Cynthia Groopman

I am truly sorry for,

Greedy people who constantly demand more and more.

This situation irks me,

I am disappointed in such humanity.

For those who have no permanent home,

Having to seek shelter on the street, tired, cold and alone.

People who constantly show off and think only of themselves,

As they traverse life's highway.

Displaying apathy and uncaring to those in need they meet struggling each and every day.

Obstacles piling high and stress hurting the heart,

I feel sorry for those who lack motivation to forster a new start.

Disability and yearning to be treated equally,

Is truly something that I care for deeply.

None of us should take life for granted and be so smug and uncaring,

We all need each other's love, help, support, inspiration and sharing.

It is not too late to awake from the slumber,

Of inwardness and to extend a helping hand,

Then and only then, will the blue bird of happiness eternally sing,

And clouds of sorrow will vanish from our life's land.

My Mother's Love

Cynthia Groopman

My mother's love was a warm smile,

Eased my pain and sorrow when I was a child.

.

My mother's love was a gentle hug and a big sweet kiss,

Oh, those I truly long for and dearly miss.

My mother's love was a lullaby song,

To soothe  my childish sleepless nights so lonely and long

.

My mother's love was reassurance that all will go well,

Picking me up spiritually when I slipped or fell

.

Onto the right path, me she would lead,

Encouraging me to have courage and hope to succeed.

My mother's love was a heart so kind full of empathy and compassion for those in need,

With food for thought, my hungry soul and mind she would feed.

My mother's love is like an eternal tree,

Providing a sense of shelter and security.

Although my mother is dwelling in God's distant land,

My mother's love is still felt when I reach out and squeeze her spiritual hand.

On Chesvon 12, the date of my dearest mother's memorial time,

My heart is full of recollections, of you, oh my most beloved and cherished mother of mine.Duringg this very special time of the year

,

Nostalgia blooms in my garden of life,  watered by my occasional tear

Oh,for your sweetness, joy and love, I dearly miss and long,

Sentimental, am I when I hear our deeply treasured song.

.

When I hear, You are my Sunshine being sung

Yearning's melodic bell is rung.

Pictures of you appear in my mind's eye,

Ah, I begin to wistfully sigh.

I know that you are living in your eternal home,

Having visited God's hallowed throne.

But to think that you are no longer physically dwelling in my physical world, at times makes me a bit sad,

To have had you as the most important part of my life, truly was an honor that always  will make me glad.

You made my life richer, brighter and full of splendid zest,

For mother dear, you were truly the loveliest, kindest, and ranked amongst the best

Beautiful Thoughts

Beautiful thoughts bloom regally like majestic flowers,

With splendid glory.

Spinning a web of a heartwarming story.

When I look back to your being in my life, dearest mother,

a person like you there shall be no other.

Extraordinary in everyway were you,

Shining a radiant beacon of light in hearts through and through.

Never did you complain or display gloom or hate,

In your heart dwelled optimism, love and always joy to share and to celebrate.

A personality that sparkled like the morning dew,

A smile of sunshine comforted others who were sorrowful or blue.

Wise decisions you taught me to make in handling life's situations,

Encouraging me to bask in triumph's mirth elation.

To you I owe everything splendid and glorious that happened to me, recently,

For your presence embraces me forever spiritually.
