Tormenters

Mary Carter Misrany

The message the Lord has placed upon my heart to share today begins with a
question.  Have YOU been delivered to the TORMENTORS?

Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me,
and I forgive him?  till seven times?
Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times:  but, Until
Seventy times seven.  St. Matthew
18:21~22
When you read the remainder of chapter 18, you will find in verse 34, the
"unforgiver" was turned over to the tormentors by his lord.
Then in verse 35 ~ So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye
from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.  Needless to
say, this includes all humankind.

St. Luke chapter 6 verse 37 reads~Judge not, and ye shall not be judged:
condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned:  forgive, and ye shall be forgiven.

St. Mark
11:25~And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have aught against any;
that your Father also which is in Heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.  Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.   Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil:
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen
St. Matthew 6:9~13

Notice in verse 12 we are to ask forgiveness for our trespasses, as we forgive
others their trespasses.
Verse 14 goes on to say:   For if ye forgive men their trespasses,  your Heavenly
Father will also forgive you:  But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will
your Father forgive your trespasses.

Our brother,
St. Paul, has more to say about forgiveness.  Let's take a look in
Ephesians 4:31:  Let all bitterness, and wrath. and anger, and clamour, and evil
speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:  And be ye kind one to another,
tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven
you.

Last, but certainly not least, we have our own precious Saviour, Jesus Christ,
who from the cross cried to his Father:  St.Luke
23:34 ~ Then said Jesus, Father,
forgive them;  for they know not what they do.  And they parted his raiment, and
cast lots.

Even as Jesus was dying on the cross, he prayed forgiveness for those who were
responsible.   Imagine THAT . . . we, the forgiven, can't find it in our hearts to
forgive some slight brought by another.

There is surely a price to pay for unforgiveness, precious angelfamily.  The Word
of God is very plain ~ IF we don't forgive others ~ we shall be turned over to
THE TORMENTORS.

Forgiveness and love are wed.  If we are not walking in forgiveness, love suffers.

Have you ever "held a grudge" and found somehow your love became stifled?
Unforgiveness stops the flow of love.  If one should hold unforgiveness for too
long, there will grow up a root of bitterness.  This root of bitterness eventually
will choke love.  It will choke peace.  It will choke compassion.  It will choke
kindness.  James writes:  Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be
swift to hear; slow to speak, slow to wrath:  For the wrath of man worked not
the righteousness of God.  We cannot walk in righteousness while holding
unforgiveness in our hearts.  God's Word is plain about this.

If you find yourself unable to forgive someone, ask the Lord to help you to
forgive.  He will.   The Lord knows what unforgiveness can do to a life and it is
HIS good pleasure that we should walk in forgiveness.

Are YOU in TORMENT?   Perhaps you are carrying the burden of unforgiveness
in your heart.  Oh, precious angelfamily, it is MUCH too heavy.   Better that it be
confessed to Father and immediately forgiveness will begin to flow.  It will open
communication that had previously been choked to death.

With Jesus RESURRECTION is not only possible ~ it is the glorious restoring
of what we'd thought lost.   May all needing deliverance from the TORMENTOR
realize your need and in humbleness of spirit, ask forgiveness and walk therein:-)

  "If . . . thou rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee . . . ."
~~ Matthew
5:23 ~~

Your Word, O Lord:

And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly;
and I pray God Your whole spirit and soul and body
be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.

Abba, Father . . . God of Peace --
I love You . . . I delight in Your Holiness, and I pray, in Jesus' Name, that, by Your Spirit, Your Holiness may take up a larger residence within the depths of me.  May a new gentleness, a new compassion -- Your compassions fail not -- a new and greater sense of the blest Calm of Jesus, rise within me, above and beyond my self, and above and beyond all earthly thoughts and attitudes, and motives and moods.
Please, allign me, Abba; put me in my proper place, according to Your Will and Your Time; and let endurance have its perfect result, so that I may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.  Today, I would live, and move, and have my being in Your Holiness, that I may behave rightly before You, and before my fellow man.
Please, Abba --
Less of who I am, and more of Who You are.
For Jesus' sake.
Amen.

I KNOW THE ONE WHO CAN"
Mary Carter Misrany

If words could heal your brok'n hearts
I'd send them straight to you . . .
But, words are little comfort for
what you've been going through ~

And, if I had a balm so rare
'twould take away your pain . . .
I'd use such precious ointment
cause your hearts to smile again ~

No, on my own, my broken ones
there is little I can do . . .
except to add my faith to yours
to know He'll see you through ~

He's the ONE to whom I go when
hurt is too hard to bear . . .
the ONE upon whom I depend
to answer every prayer ~

He IS the ONE I'm asking now to
to make His presence known . . .
shelter you beneath His wings
'til all the heartache's gone ~

Humans can't do this for you
tho' intentions are so grand . . .
I just can't heal a brok'n heart
BUT ~I KNOW THE ONE WHO CAN !!!

Our gracious heavenly Father, your Word tells us to
be thankful IN all things.   It does not tell us to be
thankful about ALL things.

We DO praise and thank you, holy Father, for being
the El Shaddai of our lives.  The God who is
MORE THAN ENOUGH !!!

Right now, Dianna and her family need the sweet
comfort of your Holy Spirit, and, we ask you to keep them
near your heart until this pain of parting has subsided.
We ask you to remind each of them that YOU have a
special place called Heaven where those who belong to
Jesus go after they leave this world.   Let them be
comforted to KNOW YOU are sustaining them and
will continue to sustain them as long as is necessary.

Oh, precious Father, thank you that we can trust and
depend upon YOU to keep your WORD, as we send this
prayer on wings of faith, wrapped in the matchless name
of our Saviour and Lord of Lords, JESUS CHRIST.
Amen & AMEN

Our prayerful thoughts are with you, sweet angelsister, Dianna
and with your family.

May God keep you near His heart.

Love in Jesus,

For Dianna and Kyle

So Tragic

Chris Hansen

So tragic!

Surely a time for prayer!

If only there were magic.

Ah, but God is there!

So sad!

The coming of death!

One day God makes glad,

Even after the final breath.

" FROM UNWISE TO WISE"
Mary Carter Misrany

What see we here
a hurting heart unwise;
ahhhh, you cannot hide
behind any disguise.

You may wear a mask
true feelings to conceal;
the Holy Spirit's never fooled
He knows  fake from  real.

For an open show
The Holy Spirit shall make;
who harbors unforgiveness causes
Christ's heart to break!

Until forgiveness comes you'll feel
the TORMENTOR'S lash;
peace will elude you,
joy is gone in a flash!

Father's just waiting for
your heart to say;
O, help me forgive, Lord,
I need thee today.

Hearts can be changed
FROM UNWISE TO WISE;
when forgiveness brings healing
and those tears Father dries.

Readers Feedback

~**~**~

Dianna wrote such a tender and warm poem about her nephew. The love she had for him comes through. I send you prayers for understanding and peace.

Mary Ann Reed

Well, at the same time, when the mother and the family suffer, there are no words for the child, who died in an accident. The poem is the crying prayer. It is making the heart sink in devotion to the God and the child as well as the mother. This suffering is not tolerable, but if we share the prayers lower the burden of the cross. Thanks! – Dr. Harmander Singh

Dianna,

I pray that God will lift up your heart and sustain you through this time of unbearable pain.  I know He is the only one who can do it.  He id it for David when His son died.  He put His hand on Mary when Jesus, our Lord died on the cross.  He is God, and the same power that raised Jesus from the grave will also heal your broken heart.

I send blessings of peace and grace to you and your household.  I ask God to give you revelation and resolve.  In the name of Jesus, my power and my Lord.
